The Three Little Pigs*warning – profanities
It came as no surprise that I could hit it off so well with Woohyun. He probably wasn’t aware of it, but he was a charmer, definitely. People flocked to him like bees attracted to honey. Lee Howon, however, was an exception. Woohyun and Howon together, was the definition of awkward – forced laughter and conversations, just looking at them made people uncomfortable. It took Woohyun 13 bus rides to finally understand that Howon wasn’t exactly a huge fan of talking.
It didn’t even occur to me when we started seeing each other every single day. At the beginning, it was just bus rides home, then even breaks and chilling around town during the weekends. The three of us, I would say, were a package. If Woohyun were a storm, then I would be the relentless rain and Howon the calm after all.
Woohyun and I had our first fallout on a certain bright and sunny day. It wasn’t because we liked the same girl, not that we ever did. The three of us, we were having lunch by the track when I saw something sticking out of his backpack like a sore thumb. Woohyun seemed to notice what I’d noticed, but my hand reacted faster than his.
“What’s this?” I said, gripping onto the tiny box so tightly, crushing its content.
Woohyun looked away, avoiding my eyes. “You very well know what it is.”
“Since when?” I asked.
“It’s none of your business, Sungyeol,” he replied. “Give it back.”
“ no, Woohyun,” I shouted. “Do you wanna ing die?”
