After saying goodnight, they were about to go to there respective rooms when suddenly the lights went off. ann screamed because she was afraid of the dark so she never expected the brown out. Luckily, james found a flashlight so he hurriedly look for ann. he found ann sitting and crying beside her door. so he went beside ann. when james sat beside ann, she suddenly hugged him.

"jams do't leave me here, i'm afraid of the dark" ann said while crying and still hugging james.

"shhh,,,don't cry. i won't leave you ok. so stop crying" james replied

"thank you" ann said as she hugged james tightly.

"come on, let sit on the couch until sophia arrived" james suggested

"ok" ann said as she hold james hand

they both walk until they reached the couch. they both sat down and still holding each other's hand. james was about to release ann's hand when

"james, don't leave me pls." ann said as she higgud james arm

"don't worry ok, i won't" james said as he put his hand on ann's back making sure that he won't leave.

they've waited for about 2 hours but no sign of sophia and there is no light.

"uhh!!" ann yawns because of sleepiness

"hey! if you want, you can sleep first and i'll wait for sophia" james said

"no, i won't sleep. i don't want to go to my room. it's too dark" ann reason out.

"okay,, if you want just sleep in this couch. i'll stay here with you" james said as he was fixing the couch

"okay,, but can i sleep in your lap?" ann asked

"why?" james asked with a confusing look

"because i want you to stay with me, maybe later when i'm asleep you'll leave me alone "ann said as she bow her head

"haix,,okay" james said as he sat down on the couch

ann put a pillow on james lap and laid down. after a few minutes, ann fell asleep while james is feeling sleepy already when suddenly the light powered on.

"Finally!" james said as he sigh and yawn

james was about to wake up ann when he saw ann sleeping comfortably. james stared at ann's face. he realized that she is as cute as an angel. james finger kept lingering on ann's face

"you're really beautiful ann" james whispered as she kissed ann's forehead.

james felt sleepy thet he can't help but to sleep also in the couch. so he also laid down in the couch with ann. his head is on the top of ann's back while ann is still sleeping peacefully. after a few hours, around four a.m. sophia arrived. as she entered the house, she saw james and ann sleeping in the couch together.

"aww,,baby james! you two look good together" sophia said to herself before going to her room leaving the 2 on the couch.
