Morning came, sunlight is always the greatest enemy of darkness. The dreadful silence and deadly darkness of yesterday were replaced by the sunlight which is full of life. 

Seulgi was never a big fan of light so she stirred up when a ray of sunlight hits her eyes. Her face formed into a frown as soon as she saw the culprit who is now happily opening every curtain in her room. 

Seulgi's vision was all blurry, but she recognized the person is a girl. Seulgi tried to see the girl face but she only caught the sight of the girl’s black long hair and small body frame. 

“W-who are you?” it came out like a small whisper but didn’t go unnoticed to the girl

“Seulgi-ah, do you remember me? I’m your greatest oppa” Heechul waved his hands and doing some stupid greeting in front of Seulgi

“...” no answer but instead a ‘I-chop-your-buddy-off-If-you-don’t-stop-your-stupid-joke’ cold stare

Taeyeon and Joy seemed to get the meaning of the stare as they start to laugh a little. While Irene and Wendy was dumbfounded of what’s going on. 

“Chill, bro! I just want to make sure...hehehe” Heechul laugh nervously 

“How is my little bear, doc?” Joy asked smiling happily

“Not fine...not fine at all” Heechul shook his head while showing a serious face

“Is she really sick, sunbae?” Irene asked out of blue and she was surprised by her own reflex

Now all eyes in the room are directly looking at the innocent girl. A good 3 seconds of silence…

“How can these little wounds could affect our little bear. She is not a human, to begin with” 

Heechul and Joy burst into laughing while Taeyeon could only sigh by their childish. 

“Don’t worry. My cute little bear is super fine. You know she can kill at least 5 big men right now despite her wounds and…” 

Joy’s funny joke was cut off when the word ‘killing’ came across . In a split of second, she was fearful for her life when her eyes making contact with the cold bear on the bed. 

“” the only word came out from with the sound of the open and close door. 

“Hehehe...your condition are g-good. Nothing bad just rest, byeee” Heechul ran for his life  

“What’s wrong with them?” Wendy finally spoke up

Seulgi’s attention was reversed back to the 2 strangers in her room. Quietly she said

“Tae, I did tell you that I don’t like strangers in my room” the words came out cold and distance

BANGGG!!! Irene heard a long bang inside her and strangely pain her heart

Taeyeon, Wendy, and Irene looked at each other then back to the cold bear

‘What’s now? How comes she didn’t remember Ire- the curse of her life’ Taeyeon was surprised

‘She didn’t remember us and especially...Irene?’ Wendy looked at Irene 

‘She didn’t remember me...what a joke...wake up Bae Irene. She’s already moved on’ Irene felt bitter and probably pain inside her. 

“You don’t remember…” Taeyeon quickly cut Wendy off

“They are your special nurses until your discharge day” Taeyeon introduced but somehow didn’t included Irene and Wendy name 

“For?” Seulgi still keep on her face a cold and soulless expression

“For your stupid actions” 

It came out sarcastically but only Seulgi knows the concern and worries deep inside those words. However, the wall that Seulgi has been built up prevents her from showing any reaction. Instead of a ‘whatever’ or ‘i-don’t-care’ reaction. 

“Stop doing stupid things so don’t have to stay here for long. I have to leave now to cover your ” Only true friends know the deep meaning of what people called sarcastic words 

Seulgi only nodded her head and closed her eyes like a usual routine. 

“I’m not trusting you girls, but I don’t have a choice either. Please take care of her” Taeyeon left  

“I wonder...what happened to her. She should remember something right? Especially you” Wendy looked at Seulgi and back to Irene

The 2 nurses are currently sitting inside Seulgi room while looking through some information about the bear’s health record. 

“How do I supposed to know?” Irene shrugged her shoulder 

“There you are. You little brat forgot the meeting that I told you yesterday!” Heechul entered the room

“Oh! I totally forgot. Sorry sunbae, hehehe” Irene scratched her head

“Did she sleep again?” Heechul asked while pointing at the sleeping bear

“Yeah...after Taeyeon left. She looked kinda tired” Irene quick answer made both Wendy and Heechul look at her weirdly

“Good! Now, let’s have a talk about yesterday incident” Heechul sat down with a serious face

“I-I...you already know” Irene looked down 

“Why, Irene? Why you haven’t given up that ” Wendy was pissed 

“You have all the rights to do so, just why Irene?” Heechul felt pity for the poor girl

“I-I am...scared of my parents. You know that his family is not normal” Irene whispered as the mention of her boyfriend family

Sehun, Irene’s boyfriend, came from a most known wealthy family across Korean and Europe. Sehun had saved Irene from a serious car accident (based on Sehun’s word). Irene and her family agreed that they will allow Sehun to date Irene, marry her, as the payback. 

But no one knows the truth, Irene was conscious during the accident but she went through a metal shock that caused the brain to erase the memory. From there, Irene has to bear several abusive actions from Sehun but unable to do anything.

“Until now, I can’t believe the fact that he had saved you that day” Wendy sighed for the nth times  

“I understand your situation, but Kang Seulgi is now under our responsibility after what you saw and heard yesterday. We can’t back out” Heechul stood up

“Is she that important?” Irene asked follow with Wendy’s agree nod

“I don’t know either since Taeyeon and Joy don’t want us to interfere with Seulgi’s background and her past. But all I can tell you girls is one thing wrong and we’ll be done, especially Taeyeon. She’s kind of overprotective toward Seulgi. Just watch out” Heechul spoke with caution 

“She seemed to have a bad impression toward me” Irene sadly stated

“Don’t worry. She’s not going to do you harm because of that bear over there. I don’t know why but Joy accidentally told me. Also, do not let your matter involve with this, Irene” 

Heechul left with so many questions in Irene's head. Why Kang Seulgi? 

“I don’t get it. Why Sehun was there on that fateful day” Wendy interrupted Irene thought

“Honestly, I don’t know either, but is not right.” Irene let her thought wander to the past

“What’s not right?” Wendy looked at Irene because she knew Irene still hiding something

“Someone other than Sehun was there on that day…” Irene looked at Seulgi 

“Someone? Who?” Wendy quickly asked 

“I-I...don’t know” Irene stuttered 

“You sure?” Wendy suspiciously asked 

“I-I think so. Anyways, let’s go grab something. We didn’t have lunch and I’m hungry” Irene smile nervously and they went outside. 

Unfortunately, to them, their conversation was overheard by someone in the room. That person didn’t sleep instead just closed her eyes and laying there. 

“What’s going on now?” with her eyes opened, she asked herself while some images flashed through her eyes. Something doesn’t make sense.

Hint About Irene Past Accident 

There was a serious car crash accident where the police are trying to catch the killer. However, the killer got the chance to escape that day and the best/top skilled member of the FBI was found almost dead. 

This person fell down from a high cliff with multiple fatal wounds, but no one knows why this best/top person end up there because with the skills this person has no one has ever caused a harm to this person. 

There were 3 people at the scene. The killer, the top FBI member, and a girl. After the top FBI member fell down, there was a sound of a gunshot being fired. The killer fled the scene with the girl.  

“Let the girl go and I’ll follow your order” 

“You seemed to care about this girl so much. It’s a shame that this girl is your biggest weakness” 

“Leave her alone” 

“Jump off this cliff and I will” 

“No! ****** don’t jump” 

“Cut the . You (pointing the gun at the girl) push her down” 

“I won’t” 

“Your family is waiting for you…”

The FBI member jump off from the cliff but the girl manages to hold her hand

“Irene” a woman voice from the phone echo through the speaker

“Sorry” Irene let go of the hand 

“Thank you” 

“I hate you” because you always sacrifice your life for me

“I love you, too”

“I’ll remember you”

“Don’t remember me”  

BANGGG!!! The gun was fired and Irene closed her eyes as darkness engulfed her.
