---The High School Graduation Day ---

“Hurry up!” 

“Hold on! My whole body is shaking right now.” 

“It’s the last chance, bear”

“Yeah! Joy is trying her best to keep the girl for you” 

“B-but...I - I’m not…” 

Before Seulgi could finish her sentence, the anxious bear already being pushed to stand in front of her longtime crush. 

“H-hi…” a shaking voice can be heard 

“What the is this dumb bear doing?” Jeongyeon mouth wide open

“I’m not putting my to keep the girl for this dumb bear just to say ‘hi’ ” Joy looked in disbelief 

“...” the girl kept quiet but gave Seulgi her full attention

“U-uhm...s-sorry for w-wa-wasting your t-time...I...uhm…” the bear heart wanted to explode 

The girl seemed bored and ready to leave as if the next thing comes out from Seulgi mouth isn’t that important or interested her. 

“You ing dumb bear! You already wasting her time by saying those words!” Jeongyeon faced palm 

“I’m gonna slap you head off if you don’t cut your crab” Joy ready for her words 

But before she could do anything, the bear sighed as she took a deep breath and poured her heart out. 

“It’s been almost 7 years this dumb stalker following you” Seulgi smiled sadly

The girl now looking straight into the bear eyes

  ---The Night Before The Graduation--- 

“I’m going to confess to her” Seulgi said with a serious face while looking at her friends

“Again? Wow, you should do that sooner!” Joy said with a hint of excited 

“That’s explained for what keeping you up now days, huh” Jeongyeon elbowed the bear 

“Yeah and I need your help, Joy. You know keep the girl until I come” Seulgi hopeful voice pleased

“Of course I will help you. But, just what if, I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep the girl for long” Joy said with a not certainly face

“Just try your best, Joy. Thanks you my best friends” Seulgi hugged her friends 

“Hope you get your dream girl.” Joy said

“Yeah! This waiting game has to end soon and you deserve the better” Jeongyeon slapped the bear’s shoulder playfully 

But none the 2 of them know the truth behind Seulgi’s confession plan, except for Taeyeon.

“Are you sure?” Taeyeon asked while looked at the bear worriedly 

“I’ll not do it if I’m not” Seulgi look out the window from her room 

“I know you are not, bear” Taeyeon tried to convince the girl to stop whatever plan that going on

“It’s too late, Tae. Just once, let me end my own dream” Seulgi looked down and Taeyeon just sighed

---Back To The Graduation Day--- 

“It’s been almost 7 years this dumb stalker following you” I smiled sadly
“And it’s been almost 7 years that this dumb me mean nothing to you” my tears started to build up
 
“I tried to ease this feeling, but it never goes away or any less. It’s literally haunted me every night.” I held my hands into fits 

“I’ve tried so hard to get you to notice me, but failed. There are so much things I want to tell you but you never give me chance or it’s because I’m not enough?” 

“I know this stupid crush has been bothered you” I looked up to stop the flow of tears almost coming out

The girl still look at me with a worried eyes, I guess because my vision now all blurry

“From now on, I promise you, this will never happen again. I’ll stop every single thing that bothered you, even this little crush.”

I looked straight into her eyes. The same comforting eyes that turned my world upside down

“2 years ago, I said that I like you and I really mean it.Today is not an exception”

“Bae Irene...I love you...I’m crazy in love with you for almost 7 years” 

Her expression was unreadable. Is she surprise, sad, happy, or doesn’t care...but it doesn’t matter now as I took 2 steps back away from her

Joy and Jeongyeon looking at me like this isn’t what they’ve expected. But Taeyeon is looking another way because guilt washed over her. She is right there, letting her best friend ready to thing up but unable to do anything. 

“It is not a question. You don’t have to answer it because it doesn’t matter anymore” Irene seemed to taken back but didn’t show any reaction

“All I want to say is I’ll never regret anything that I did for these past 7 years” I took another step back  

“It was me who started it, it was my one-side love, and it will be me who ends it, alone”

“You are the best thing that ever happened in my life from the past, to present, and probably future if...if this life still have fun watching me being torture ” I turned around back facing her

“Because I’m a girl and a coward...sorry for loving you. Goodbye!” 

All the things that I tried to build up now all crashed down. I let my tears flow out as much as it wants. I didn’t dare to look at the girl face. All I know is…I ran

I ran away from everything...away from her life...away from my reason to be happy 

“W-where is she going?” Irene spoke still shock at what just happened

“Somewhere far...away from everything” Taeyeon said while looking down

“Why did that dumb bear do that? Isn’t she deserve the better?” Jeongyeon was confused 

“No please, excuse us, you may go. From now on, nothing will bother you anymore, Irene-ssi!” Taeyeon coldly spoke

“B-but...this is not…”Joy was cut off 

“Let’s live our own life and not interfere with each other life” Taeyeon left

The Graduation day supposed to be a happy day where you finally get out of hell, away from those madest teacher and subjects that bring nightmare to everyone. 

The start of a beautiful youth, the age of 18 

But somewhere in the loud cheering voices of teenages that echo throughout the school campus

There are 2 friends still puzzled with what just happened. 

There is a girl being haunted by guiltiness for whatever will happen in the future

There is a girl that currently cheering with her friends, but deep inside her heart, she feels empty as if she just lose something really important. 

Lastly

There is a girl, running away from the reality, and crying her heart out while clutching onto a small red bracelet as if her life depends on it. She was regretted of everything. But it’s too late to turning back. She knew, she will end up doing the same thing if she could turn back in time.  

Youth is the period of time where you do things 
Which you definitely know that you will end up regretting it
But no matter how many chances you have or how mature you are
You will choose to do the same stupid thing all over again
It’s just how things work
You try...You fall...and you learn
You will have to lose something to pay for that lesson
But sometimes, you will lose the one that you dearly love forever 
Just to pay for that lesson called youth
