3. Lies!

 

“Are you staring at my lips because you want to kiss them?” Jinyoung asked and slicked his lips ily, even biting his lips after

 

 

“So…. sorry….” Mark came back to the reality and apologised, looking away from the younger’s face and lips

 

 

“Haha…. I’m just kidding, no need to be so nervous……let’s just have fun….” Jinyoung chuckled and said smiling angelic towards the elder

 

 

It’s 3am already and he is still at the bar with Jinyoung and his gang. He was tired and dizzy from the alcohol and he wants to leave the bar, but he wasn’t brave enough to say he wants to go home, when Jinyoung and his gang still at the bar. He doesn’t want to act like a baby boy in front of them. Jinyoung talked to Mark from time to time, but Mark just stayed silently listened the most of the time. Mark yawned and it made Jinyoung stare at the elder.

 

 

“Are you sleepy?” Jinyoung asked while the elder’s bangs, looking right into the elder’s eyes closely

 

 

Mark just sat there silently stared back into Jinyoung’s eyes, his nose, then his lips. The elder didn’t know why, but he wanted to kiss the younger’s plump lips and it made him gulp. Is it because of the alcohol? Or is it because Mark is gay? The elder didn’t know, but he ended up just saying something he regrets right away

 

 

“You’re beautiful….” Mark said still staring at Jinyoung’s lips

 

 

“Omg what did I say….so…. sorry….” Mark said in English because of his nervousness, he didn’t know what made him say it, he didn’t know if Jinyoung is gay or not, he didn’t know if Jinyoung would feel disgusted of him if he knew that Mark is gay.

 

 

“No need to apologise, I know I’m beautiful…...” Jinyoung said and winked to the elder and it made the elder’s heart flutter

 

 

“Come on, let’s go, I will send you home….” Jinyoung said and stand ups from his seat staring at the elder

 

 

“You’re sending me home?” Mark asked shocked, not understanding why the younger are so nice towards him, is he so nice to everyone in his gang?

 

 

“Yeah…let’s go….” Jinyoung said and Mark stand ups from his seat as well

 

 

“You’re leaving hyung?” The guy named Youngjae asked when he noticed that both Jinyoung and Mark stand ups from the seat

 

 

“Yeah, we’re leaving first….” Jinyoung causally said and put on his leather jacket, ready to leave

 

 

“Oooooh, theyyyyyy are leaving first, enjoy your night hyung….” Yugyeom said and it made Mark blush of no reason

 

 

“Shut up Kim Yugyeom and don’t be late for school tomorrow….” Jinyoung said to the younger, more like a command

 

 

“I need to see what kind of morning mood I have tomorrow, if I have bad mood then I can’t come to school on time….” Yugyeom said, sticking out his tongue to annoy Jinyoung. Mark was surprised to how brave Yugyeom is to annoy his gang leader Jinyoung. Is he not scared of Jinyoung? That’s what Mark thought

 

 

“It’s already 3am, so is actually today not tomorrow….” Mark said quietly, he didn’t know why he said it, but it just came out naturally

 

 

“Omg, he is a smartass, why our gang need a smartass? We hate nerds…” BamBam complained and whined of annoyingness

 

 

“So…. so… sooorry….” Mark apologised shuttering, knew that he said something wrong

 

 

“Just shut the ing up BamBam” Jinyoung started and glared at the younger “Don’t need to care about them, don’t let the comment bother you, come on…let me send you home….” Jinyoung now looked at Mark and said with a smile, made the elder’s heart flutter once again and blush. Mark just nodded his head, don’t have any word coming out of his mouth

 

 

“BamBam, just let it be, look at them, someone is getting a drive home……soooo sweet….” Yugyeom commented and it made the rest of the gang laugh except Mark and Jinyoung

 

 

Jinyoung just held the elder’s hand and pulled him out of the bar, leaving the rest of the gang. Mark just followed after and Jinyoung didn’t let go of the elder’s hand until they arrived at the parking lot. Jinyoung opened the car door of the passenger seat for Mark.

 

 

“Are you’re going to drive after have drank alcohol?” Mark asked, scared be in an accident.

 

 

“Does he even have the driving license? He is only sixteen, can you drive in Korea when you are sixteen? I have my driving license from LA, but you should never drunk driving…. and he drank a lot of alcohol earlier….” Mark thought and bites his lips of nervousness

 

 

“Do you have a problem with it?” The younger asked with a stern voice, made the elder even more nervous

 

 

“NO…. of course not…” Mark said quickly and sat in to the passenger seat

 

 

“Great…...” Jinyoung said and closed the door for the elder before making his way to the driver seat

 

 

Jinyoung sat in to the driver seat and closed door after, before staring at the nervously Mark who is looking down and playing with his fingers. The younger moved closer to the elder and made Mark flinch away from Jinyoung. The younger moved even more closer and moved his hand closer to the elder’s face. Mark nervously closed his eyes and he suddenly felt someone pulled out the seat belt around him and it made him open his eyes again.

 

 

“I can do it myself….” Mark said quickly and pulled the seat belt himself, but his hand came accidently in touch with Jinyoung’s hand. Mark then quickly let go of the seat belt and Jinyoung’s hand, made the seatbelt pulled back and hit Mark’s face and the elder let out a loud yelp of pain

 

 

“Let me do it cutie pie….” Jinyoung said and caress the elder’s face where the seat belt had hit. It made Mark blush really hard, fluttered of the new nickname and the little touch the younger gave him

 

 

Mark just let Jinyoung put on the seat belt for him and sat still quietly. Jinyoung put on his seat belt as well before asking for the elder’s home address. Mark told him the place he’s living and Jinyoung drove him home. Both of them was in silent on the way to the elder’s home and Mark just looked down, playing with his fingers. The car stopped and it was then the elder saw that they arrived in front of his apartment building.

 

 

“Thank you….” Mark said and pulled out the seat belt ready to get out of the car, but the younger stopped him by holding his wrist, made Mark look at Jinyoung nervously

 

 

“I will come and pick you up tomorrow to go to school together….” Jinyoung said with a smile

 

 

“No need, I can go to school myself….” Mark declined, but then Jinyoung’s angelic smile suddenly disappeared and looked scary

 

 

“I…. I…. will wait fo…. for you….to get me then…...” Mark looked at Jinyoung nervously and stuttered

 

 

“Great, I will pick you up at 7am…...” Jinyoung said with his angelic smile again and let go of the elder’s wrist

 

 

“Ok, goodbye then, drive safely….” Mark said before getting out of the car

 

 

“Sweet dream….” Jinyoung said before driving away

 

 

Mark opened the door quietly, scared to wake his parents up. He tips toed inside the apartment and he saw his mother sleeping at the couch in the living room. He went to get a blanket and put it over his mother, but it made his mother stir from her sleep and woke up

 

 

“You’re back…...” his mother said and rubbed her eyes

 

 

“Mom, why are you sleeping in the living room….” Mark switched back to English and asked his mother

 

 

“I was waiting for you, it was late and you’re new in Seoul, I was worried….” His mother said, replying back in English

 

 

“I told you, I met few of my new friends from school, no need to worry….” Mark said a bit of annoying, he knows that his mother is worried about him, but it made him feel like a big baby boy

 

 

“Fine, fine…. wait…did you drink alcohol?” His mother asked sternly after smelling Mark’s jacket

 

 

“I…. no…...I was with my friends at the 24/7 convenience store and there were some elder men that sat there and drank beer…. and one of them came drunk and hugged me randomly so maybe that’s why I smell a bit of alcohol….” Mark lied towards his mother, he knew that if he told her mother the truth, she definitely going to freak out and wake his dad up.

 

 

“Omg, are you okay then…” His mother asked worried

 

 

“Yeah, the drunk man’s friends apologised and all of them left….” Mark said and looked down, don’t like lying toward his mom

 

 

“It’s to dangerous outside this late, what time is it now? omg it’s almost 4am Mark, what kind of knew friends you got there? Being out so late, you can’t hang out with some bad kids okay? You are not allowed to being outside so late anymore, you need to get home by 10pm every day, understand?” his mother started nagging and Mark hates when his mother nag at him

 

 

“I’m not a kid anymore…. I hate when you put those time rules on me…...” Mark shouted annoyed and went to his room, slamming the door after him, not forgetting to lock the door.

 

 

Mark actually regret it right after, he didn’t mean to shout at his mother, but he really hates when his mother look after him like he’s a baby. He just went to sleep, forgetting everything, not even showering or brush his teeth

 

 

“I will just take a quick shower tomorrow before school…...” Mark thought and quickly fell asleep

 

 

Mark’s alarm ringed loudly 6am and the elder quickly wakes up from his sleep. He went out of his room and went to take a shower ignoring his mother who was making breakfast. After showering and brushing his teeth, Mark went to change. He put on a grey hoodie, black ripped jeans and yesterday’s denim jacket that Jinyoung liked. Mark looked at his watch and it shows 06:55, so he has 5 min before Jinyoung arrival to pick him up to school. He went out of his room with his back pack and met his mother who looked at him surprised

 

 

“Why aren’t you wearing your uniform? Did you forget that were not in LA anymore? You need your uniform in Korean high school…...” His mother asked normally like nothing happened just a few hours ago.

 

 

“Mhm…. the school have different culture as this month theme, so we trying out not wearing school uniform…...” Mark lied…. again, it’s already his nth lie toward his mother after meeting Jinyoung and his gang

 

 

“Ok…great then….” His mother said, a bit of unsure, but choose to trust his son

 

 

Mark looked at his watch again and it shows 06:59, so he ran to put on his shoes, ready to leave and meet Jinyoung

 

 

“Are you not having breakfast?” His mother asked when he saw his son went to put his shoes on

 

 

“I’m late for school so, no need for breakfast….” Mark kind of lied, his late that’s true, but not for school, but for meeting Jinyoung.

 

 

Mark ran out of his apartment building and saw a family black car parked in front of the building. He went closer to the car and he saw Jinyoung sitting in the driver seat playing with his phone. The elder opened the door to the passenger seat and sat down and it was then the younger noticed the elder

 

 

“You’re late….” Jinyoung said and pointed at the clock in the car that shows 06:10

 

 

“Sorry…...” Mark apologised and looked down

 

 

“No need, we have a lot of time, but I found out that you apologised a lot…sorry, sorry, sorry…. I hear it a lot of times, I think that what you say the most…...” Jinyoung said and chuckled

 

 

“Sorry….” Mark apologised again and it made Jinyoung laugh out loud

 

 

“See, there you go again…. I told you, no need to apologise….” Jinyoung said and scanned Mark from head to toe

 

 

“You’re looking good and had the denim jacket on like told you to….” Jinyoung said with a big smile on his face

 

 

“You said you liked it….” Mark said with his heart fluttering of the comment Jinyoung gave him, that he’s looking good

 

 

“I didn’t know that you would take my opinion so seriously….” Jinyoung teased with a smirk on his face and winked towards the elder, made Mark blush a little bit

 

 

Jinyoung then pulled out the seat belt for Mark again, but this time the elder didn’t protest at all and just let the younger put on the seat belt for him. Mark didn’t know why he just let him do it and didn’t protest, but he just naturally sat still, maybe because it isn’t the first time now

 

 

The drive was quietly like last time, but Mark felt a bit less nervous this time, not knowing why. The elder looked out of the window and out of his surprise, instead of driving to school, they drove pass the school.

 

 

“Where are we going?” Mark asked nervously when he saw that they pass the school

 

 

“Secret….” Jinyoung said and it made the elder gulp
