Sorry, my internet at home didn’t work last night so the update got delayed to now since I got home late today, but it is double update like I promised. Start with chapter 24

24. New Day!

Jinyoung went right back to his room ignoring Mark who’s standing at the living room. The younger laid down on his bed staring at the white ceiling above him.

“Should I just forgive him this easily?” Jinyoung muttered and asked himself, before closing his eyes for getting some rest

On the other side, the elder decided to make some dinner for both Jinyoung and him. He opened the fridge and pulled out Jinyoung’s favourite sashimi. Mark called for delivery of some sushi as well so they could get filled.

“Maybe this is our last dinner……” Mark thought and let out a sigh

The delivery had come and Mark had set up the table for their dinner. The elder went carefully up to the younger’s room. He knocked on the door before slowly opened the door. Jinyoung sit ups from his position and stared at the elder.

“Eh…...mhm…...the……the…... dinner…….the dinner is ready……...” Mark stuttered while rubbing his nape

“Why are you stuttering? Was it weird to talk again after being mute for so long?” Jinyoung teased the elder and went past him to the living room before Mark could even answer

Jinyoung made a seat and stared at the food the elder had prepared, it was all his favourite. Sashimi and sushi.

“I ordered your favourite and it was some sashimi left from last time…...” Mark said with a low voice behind the younger.

Jinyoung just nodded his head and the elder just stands beside Jinyoung without daring to take a seat

“Aren’t you gonna take a seat?” Jinyoung finally broke the silent and asked

“Can I?” Mark asked innocent and surprised, he thought Jinyoung would ask him to pack his things and leave

“How are you supposed to feed me if you’re not gonna take a seat? Jinyoung asked while showing his hands still wrapped with bandage

“Oh…...” Mark said and hurried to take a seat beside the younger and starts feeding Jinyoung

“Ah…...” Mark said gently and Jinyoung slowly opened his mouth and leaned closer to the elder to eat the sashimi Mark is feeding him

Mark was busying feeding the younger so he totally forgets to eat himself as well. And Jinyoung was just focusing on eating that he didn’t care about the elder

“I’m full…….mhm……you can eat the rest……” Jinyoung said after he was done eating, he said it slowly and in a low voice, more like a whisper

“Thank you…...” Mark said and starts to eat as well, he thought that Jinyoung would leave him to eat alone and go back to his room. But to his surprise, the younger sat there silently beside and watching the elder eating

After they were done eating, Jinyoung asked the elder to follow him up to the bathroom. The younger asked Mark to brush his teeth and wash up for him. Mark had never done it before, but he still did it. Jinyoung sat down on the toilet showing his teeth to the elder like a cute little kid. Mark let out a chuckle and started to brush the younger’s teeth. After had washed up, Jinyoung asked the elder to helps him to change to the pyjamas.

Mark gulped and slowly button off the shirt of the younger. The elder ended up staring at the six pack of the younger

“Like what you’re seeing?” Jinyoung teased the elder with a smirk on his face

“Sorry……” Mark quickly said and changed Jinyoung into his pyjamas

“No need to say sorry, I know I had good body……” Jinyoung said with a smirk and it make Mark wants to roll his eyes

“Here we go again, must you go back to your old playboy style?” Mark asked in his mind and went out of the bathroom

Jinyoung sat on his bed with his back to wall and blanket covered his leg and tummy, Mark was staring of the younger from the corner of the room. Mark stands near the main door of the room with his hands behind him, like a kid waiting for getting scolded from his parent cause he had done something wrong

“Go pick a book from my bookshelf……” Jinyoung said, more like a command. Mark was surprised a first but did as said

Mark picked a random book from the shelf and went back to the younger. He moves his hand towards Jinyoung to give the book, but the younger didn’t take it.

“Sit down and read it for me…...” Jinyoung commanded and Mark did as said even he was surprised

“What did you pick?” Jinyoung asked when Mark had sat down beside the younger.

“Mhm…...I don’t know…...mhm….’The silent house?’” Mark said and read the name of the book

“Ok, start to read…...” Jinyoung commanded and Mark’s starts to read. Mark were focusing on reading and reads chapter after chapter, not stopping until he felt something heavy on his shoulder. Mark turned his head and saw Jinyoung sleeping soundly.

Mark let out a chuckle and kissed the younger on the forehead before closing the book with a mark where he had left. Mark leaned his head on the back and stared at the white ceiling above of him

“When will you forgive me and let me be your boyfriend again?” Mark muttered and closed his eyes

The next day when Mark woke up, Jinyoung was already gone and left the bed. Mark felt worry, did he leave him? he thought.

“Jinyoung?” Mark shout and ran downstairs to look for the younger

“Jinyoung where are you?” Jinyoungie? Please don’t leave me……” Mark shout out and looking crazily after the younger

“What are you doing?” Jinyoung came in from the garden and asked the elder

Mark turned around and ran toward the younger, he hugged Jinyoung tightly don’t want to let go

“I thought you left me……” Mark said buried his face into the younger’s shoulder

“Leave you? This is my house, shouldn’t you be the one leaving?” Jinyoung said calmly, he didn’t hug back, but he didn’t push the elder away either

“I won’t leave you, I won’t leave you even you push me away……” Mark said and hugged the younger ever tighter

“Whatever, like I care……” Jinyoung said, but he couldn’t hide the small smile he had on his face

“Are you done hugging me? I’m hungry…... aren’t you gonna go make breakfast for me?” Jinyoung asked the elder after don’t know how long they had been staying like that and Mark finally broke the hug.

“Wait for me, I will go make some breakfast to you right away…...” Mark said happily and ran towards the kitchen and it make Jinyoung let out a chuckle of the elder behaved like a kid

Mark made some toast and feed the younger some scrambled egg Jinyoung always liked. They ate in silent, but there were smile on both of their faces. After breakfast, Jinyoung asked Mark to get the book he read for him last night.

Mark went to get the book and Jinyoung sat on the couch waiting for the elder. Mark came back with the book and sat down beside the younger

“Read for me…...” Jinyoung commanded and Mark starts to read

When Mark was reading, Jinyoung lay down with his head on the elder’s lap. Mark was surprised and looked down from the book and into the younger’s eyes

“What are you staring at? Continue to read……” Jinyoung commanded and Mark starts to read again. Jinyoung slowly closing his eyes, enjoying the voice of Mark he had miss so much

“…….And the house that used to be silent had been filled with laugh, cry, smile, anger, frustration, all kind of emotion…...” Mark read the last sentence of the book, before closing it

“That’s the end of the book…...” Mark said and stared at the younger who’s lying on his lap. Jinyoung opens his eyes again and stared into the elder’s eyes. None of them said anything, it was just silent between them, but the silent was comfortable

Jinyoung was the first one to break their stare, he sits up from his position and looked away from the elder

“I will go back to school tomorrow and since you’re my maid, you will be driving me and carrying my bag…...” Jinyoung said and left the living room

“School? What will his gang say when they see me?” Mark muttered and asked himself, he’s just not ready to go back to school

When the night came and Jinyoung had went to sleep, Mark quietly drove the car of Jinyoung out of the younger’s house. Mark went to his own home to get his uniform for school tomorrow. The ride was long, Mark drove the slowest he can, he doesn’t know if he’s parent is still awake, but he doesn’t know what to say if they were awake.

Mark slowly unlocked the main door to his parent’s apartment, it was all dark inside and Mark let out a relived sigh. Mark went to his own room and got his uniform, before he tried to sneak out of the apartment again
