1. Can I Come Along?

Mark just moved to Seoul with his family, because of his father’s job. His father is not some rich business man, just a normal employee that got transferred to the company in Korea. Even Mark is Chinese and lived in LA his whole life, he can speak a bit of Korean, but he’s not good at it. He had only been learning Korean for 3 months in LA before they moved to Seoul. Mark got transferred to one of Seoul’s famous high school, JYP. Mark is a quiet person that doesn’t like to speak, he hates complicated thing’s and be in conflict. He searched about JYP high school on the internet and he found many bloggers that talked about JYP’s biggest bully Park Jinyoung.

Park Jinyoung, JYP’s biggest bully that everyone is scared of. Everyone needs to wear school uniforms, but he’s and his gang is the only ones that didn’t need to. He’s father is the owner of the school, even the school name is under their son, Jinyoung Park.

One of the blog said and had a lot of information about the bully Park Jinyoung, even pictures of him. Not just about Park Jinyoung, but also about his gang members, but Mark didn’t pay much attention about the other gang members. It also had a chat box, that you can chat with the blogger.

M93:

“Hi, if you are a new student who transfers to JYP, how to avoid Park Jinyoung?” Mark started the chat with his broken Korean and he got a reply after a few minutes

GRPA:

“If you a new transfer student then you will definitely be his next target, every new student goes through this and no one can get fully avoids the biggest bully Park Jinyoung. If you really don’t want to get bully, my suggestion for you is try to get along with the gang.….” The blogger replied to Mark’s question with suggestion

M93:

“Get along with the gang? Like be a part of it? How?” Mark asked, but didn’t got a reply back, he let out a sigh and lied on the bed worrying his school life starting from next week

Mark changed to his school uniform and ready to go to school, he’s scared to be one of Jinyoung’s target, he doesn’t want to be bullied, no one wants to be bullied, unless your mental psycho. He pulled his bag with him and went out of his room and saw his mother prepared breakfast for him.

"Hi dear, are you ready for school?” Mrs. Tuan asked and gave her son breakfast on the table, while Mark just nodded his head and sat down to eat his breakfast

“Are you nerves?” Mrs. Tuan asked again and sat down across of Mark to eat breakfast with his son

“Where is dad?” Mark asked his mother, avoiding the conversation about how nerves he is and uncomfortable with moving to new country and transferring to new school. He doesn’t want his mother to worry about him when she’s had a lot to take care of since they just moved here. And Mark is not a person that likes to talk about his worries and problems

“He went to his new office already…” Mrs. Tuan answered with a smile, she knows that her son doesn’t like to talk about his worries so she just let the conversation stops there

Mark bid goodbye to his mother and went to his school, he is now standing in the front gate of his new high school. He saw many students in their uniforms that going into the school. Mark let out a sigh and went in with the other students. He went first to the office to get his student card and greet his tutor of his class. The class was about to start and Mark followed his tutor to his class, they stand in front of the class room that written 2B-405 on the door.

They went inside and everyone stared at Mark, he felt shy and wanted to look down on the floor, but something else caught his eyes. Park Jinyoung, the biggest bully in JYP, he is the same class as him, what a fate he got there. Mark mentally slapped himself. Jinyoung and his gang is the only ones that didn’t had uniforms on. Jinyoung had a white v neck t-shirt that shows a bit of his collarbone. He has his black leather jacket on, crossed leg on the table with black ripped jeans. Even Jinyoung is a big bully, Mark most admits that Jinyoung looks y and beautiful in that outfit. They had an eye contact and Mark quickly looked down, made Jinyoung smirk

“How am I supposed to be one of his gang?” Mark asked himself in his mind and are in his own world totally ignoring the teacher that are calling his name

“Mark Tuan….” Teacher called him a bit louder this time, for nth time and Mark finally back to reality and gave a reaction

“Yes?” Mark said and looked at the teacher while everyone started to laugh, made Mark blush and embarrassed

“Please pay attention and introduce yourself….” The teacher said sternly

“Mhm…. hello…. mhm…eeh…my name…. eeh….is Mark….” Mark said stuttering in his broken Korean while looking down

“Okay go have a seat at the back and we will start the class….” The teacher said and Mark slowly went to the back to his seat, he passes by Jinyoung and his gang. Mark turned to look at Jinyoung one last time before he sat on his seat, right behind Jinyoung and his gang.

The class was boring for Mark, since he didn’t understand much of what the teacher said, because of his Korean wasn’t that good. When the class was over and it was lunch time all the students quickly ran out of the classroom. Jinyoung and his gang slowly stands up and when outside of the classroom as well. Mark sat alone in the cafeteria corner, he looked at Jinyoung and his gang that are eating happily at the table in the centre of the cafeteria. Mark thought that he would be Jinyoung’s new target and they would start bully him, but they just ignoring him all day, not paying any attention to him at all.

Mark’s first school day was over and he went home right away, he was the first one to storm out of the classroom. When Mark came home, he ran to his room without greeting his mother and Mrs. Tuan know right away that Mark had a hard time in school today. Dinner time came and Mark stayed in silent while eating his dinner or more exactly, playing with his food, because he didn’t have any appetite at all.

“How was school today?” Mr. Tuan asked Mark with a smile

“It was okay….” Mark lied, it was terrible, he was uncomfortable all day

“Did you make some new friends?” Mr. Tuan asked again, curious about how his son had it in school

“Yeah, a few….” Mark lied again, he didn’t even talk to a single person, not even a single word came out of his mouth today except the introduction of himself.

After the dinner, Mark said he wanted to have a walk. Mark lied about he wanted to look around and be familiar to the neighbourhood and his parent said okay, but asked him to be careful. Mark nodded his head and went out of his house, but the truth is, he felt like he going to lose his breath in the house. He wants to have some fresh air and alone time. Mark plugs in his earphones and listened to some music, just to empty his mind.

Mark just walked around the neighbourhood for a few hours, it started to be late and he was actually ready to go home, but it was until he saw someone familiar, it was Jinyoung and his gang.

“Hey…” Mark shouted to them, made the whole gang turn around to look at Mark. He didn’t know what made him so brave to call them, but he has no way to return now, even he regrets it. Jinyoung passes by his gang and is now in front of Mark staring at him

“Can I come along?” Mark said nervously in English, every time when he is very nervous he would speak in English

Jinyoung stared at him silently and had a smirk on his face.
