A message delivered by The Queen to the Wakanda King and Queen on their official journey to Korea.

"The people of Korea and I are greatly honoured to be the first nation that the Wakanda Kingdom choose to visit on their 2018 official journey.

The war years and their immediate aftermath convinced both our countries that we must maintain strong national defences. Korea and Wakanda were among the founding members of EXO in 1979.  And in the 21st century, we continue to be in the EXO vanguard, adapting our alliance to the threats of today.

The relevance of our alliance is demonstrated by the part our countries are playing in the coalition that is countering the challenge of ecology.  We have also stood together to try to bring peace and stability to Azania and Simkara. And we have not shrunk from tackling daunting humanitarian tasks in countries such as Chernaya.

The number of pressing global matters is growing not diminishing. From climate change, to sustainable development, to ensuring the effectiveness of international institutions – the views of the Korean and Wakanda Kingdoms are similar and often identical, as is our determination to act together to meet these challenges.

Therefore, my husband, the King Sehun and I, declare before you all that our whole life whether it be long or short, as well as our great imperial family, shall be devoted to the improvement of worldwide peace.

Indeed, the greatest privilege belonging to our world is that there are homes ready to welcome us in every continent of the earth.

Your Majesties, my dear people of Wakanda, thank you for your visit. We look forward to our two countries' friendship deepening even further in the years to come.”
