Third person’s POV

Hospital…

Mina was checking on the patients in the ER. She and chaeyoung are officially divorced. She was talking to an old guy that thinks he has brain cancer. She was comforting him that he is healthy and he doesn’t need to stay at the hospital when suddenly they heard someone yelling. The nurses usually will panic but since they know who the person was they chuckled and looked at mina who rushed to him.

“Doctor my heart ahh it’s aching!” taecyeon winced while holding his left chest “please save me”

Mina couldn’t do anything but smile at him “taecyeon you come here almost every day there is nothing wrong with you”

He sat back and looked at her “It’s the only way that I can see you these days, now come on check on my hear- oh oh what is that?” he was ping his jacket when a red flower popped out “oh it’s a flower for the most beautiful girl in Seoul”

Mina can only smile shyly while inhaling its scent “Thank you”

He poked her cheek and smiled “diner? Together? Now?”

She looked at her watch “my shift finishes after five minutes”

He clapped his hand “then change your outfit and let’s go come on come on!” he jumped out of the bed “I will wait for you outside” he said before rushing outside the ER.

Mina on the other side went to her office, she put the red flower in the white vase she has, it used to be empty but now it’s filled with taecyeon’s flowers. Some of them are white, yellow, purple and red. She didn’t throw away the dead flowers, to her they are so precious.

She wore a turtleneck top with black pants she brushed her hair and rushed to the hospital’s entrance where taecyeon was waiting for her “let’s go”

His hand instinctively held hers, he didn’t realize what he just did. The two became friends after she broke up with chaeyoung. He was the shoulder she cried on and was always there to make her laugh and comfortable.

The two looked at their hand and he pulled it out immediately “I am sorry I don’t know why I did this” he stuttered.

“It’s fine, you hand is warmer than mine” she smiled and held his hand “where shall we go today?”

The two walked together and he smiled at her warmly “shall we go to my parents’ restaurant?”

“Your parents?” mina gasped and touched her head “I am not wearing something suitable and I didn’t watch since yesterday”

“It’s okay I love you as you are”

“Can you say it again?” she cut him off.

“I love you as you are” she said softly while standing in front of her “mina since both of us share the same pain and we are basically lonely… Shall we be each other’s company forever?”

“Shuush” he cupped her cheeks “if you will give me a chance I am ready to wait. I know you can get over him and the past and think about the future and how to make it beautiful, hm?”

She smiled and nodded before he held her hand “now let’s go I am starving!”
