I look at her in the eyes and figuring out what really is happening with Jennie.

 

 

 

If i'm just an option of her heartbreak or a real one.

 

 

 

But the thing is that.

 

 

 

I'm willing to make you happy, Jennie. 

 

 

 

But i'm afraid i might hurt you.

 

 

 

The friendship we built.

 

 

 

What if this won't work?

 

 

 

What if i hurt you?

 

 

 

What if all of this are just a decision made because both of us are a mess.

 

 

 

But every inch of you is just mesmerizing. 

 

 

 

All this time, Jennie. 

 

 

 

I don't know why people always break your heart.

 

 

 

But here i am, fixing it.

 

 

 

That's not even a big deal for me.

 

 

 

Because you're my bestfriend. 

 

 

 

Your happiness is my happiness.

 

 

 

Your sadness is also my sadness.

 

 

 

I felt the happiness you are showing when i'm around but i never thought that happiness will lead us here.

Why do i feel like i'm in danger at the same time it feels so good?

 

 

 

The thing that i am afraid of is that

 

 

 

 

Too much happiness from you might have something in return.

 

 

 

I am afraid, Jennie. 

 

 

 

I am afraid of taking the risk.

 

 

 

But what can i do?

 

 

 

 

All i want is you to be happy. 

 

 

 

Leaving her room at 6 in the morning and thinking about everything. 

 

 

 

I guess i am really into it.

 

 

 

I don't care but if this what will make her happy then i'll give it to her.

 

 

 

But i am afraid that i am also the cause of her sadness. 

 

 

 

What if i'm also one of the people that might hurt her?

 

 

 

I will never forgive myself. 

 

 

 

I lowered my head as i look at the view outside with this huge glass in my hotel room. 

 

 

 

My phone rings and an unknown number was calling. 

 

 

 

" Hello? "

 

 

 

" Hi, Engineer Manoban. I guess i don't need to introduce myself cause i know by voice you can familiarize it " the caller said

 

 

 

It was Jennie's dad. 

 

 

 

" What do you want? " i asked

 

 

 

" Why are you so rude? "

 

 

 

" Ask your self, Mr. Kim. " 

 

 

 

 

" I didn't called you to argue with me, Lisa. I know you've been part of our family eversince you and Jennie met " he said

 

 

 

" Do you even know the word FAMILY? are you sure you really have the nerve to say that? " i said in a pissed voice.

 

 

 

" Lisa, please. " He begged. 

 

 

 

" What's the catch, Mr. Kim. I know you have reasons why you pick me to work for you " 

 

 

 

" I want my family back, Lisa " 

 

 

 

The time her father dropped it,  i lost my cool and was about to fight about how thick face he is asking for help.

 

 

 

" Let's have a talk, Lisa. " 

 

 

 

I didn't respond.

 

 

 

" I'm downstairs, on the cafe where you guys are staying and i know you're with Jennie. " he said

 

 

What.

 

 

 

" I'm not asking you to bring Jennie but i'm asking you to talk to me personally, Lisa. I am begging you "

 

 

 

 

I was about to answer but i heard someone knocking on my door multiple times.

 

 

 

" I love Jennie so much that i don't even want you to be near her though your his father but for now i want you to know that i'm not doing this because your actions years ago towards them are acceptable "

 

 

 

Then i heard another knock and heard Jennie's voice.

 

 

 

" Is that Jennie? " 

 

 

 

 

 

 

" Yes " 

 

 

 

" Can you hang on and let me hear her voice? " 

 

 

 

I don't know. 

 

 

 

" Please, Lisa. " 

 

 

 

 

I let it still on call and open the door. 

 

 

 

" Why? is there something wrong? " 

 

 

 

She's not answering but i can see in her eyes that she's teary. 

 

 

 

After seconds, she hugged me so tight and i don't even know why. 

 

 

 

" What's going on, Jennie? "

 

 

 

 

" Nothing " she answered

 

 

 

I hug her more tighter and comfort her as i pat her back. 

 

 

 

" Hush, i'm here " 

 

 

 

 

" I thought i lost you " 

 

 

 

 

" You won't lose me, Jennie " 

 

 

 

I slowly loosen the hug and faced her.

 

 

 

" I need to go somewhere, Jennie " 

 

 

 

" Where? "

 

 

 

" Cafe downstairs, i have to meet someone " 

 

 

 

" Just quick, Jennie. I won't take long " i said

 

 

 

I need to let her stay here and not see her father.

 

 

 

Cause probably, it'll be a mess.

 

 

 

" Can i know who? "

 

 

 

 

" A client "

 

 

 

" Really? "

 

 

 

" Yes " i answered

 

 

 

Jennie quickly let her body sticks unto mine and hugged me. 

 

 

 

But i feel like there's something stressing her.

 

 

 

" Don't worry that much, i don't want to see you stressing out " i whispered.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

" Please come back "

 

 

 

 

 

" I will, Jennie. Don't worry "
