“No, absolutely not.”

Kyuhyun set his jaw in firm resolution.  He would not be swayed, not this time.

“Oh, come on, Kyuhyunnie!  It’s not that big of a deal!”

Kyuhyun shook his head, unwilling to give in.

“I said no, Ryeowook.  I swear to God, don’t even start with me.”

But it was too late; the smaller was already looking up at him, his large eyes shiny with tears.

“You can’t be serious” the younger huffed, but he could already feel himself beginning to waver.

“Ryeowook, you are not going to throw a fit in the middle of Ikea.  For ’s sake you are a grown man!”

As if on cue, the petite man’s lip started to quiver and Kyuhyun was forced to look away.  A soft whimpering sound shattered his heart and his resolve, and suddenly Kyuhyun felt like the worst human on Earth.

“Fine” he bit out, and Ryeowook brightened immediately.

Kyuhyun watched as he skipped towards check-out, the large giraffe-shaped pillow clutched protectively to his chest. 

Never in his life had Kyuhyun felt so utterly whipped. 

Still, the beautiful smile that lit up Ryeowook’s face had him breathless.  His body reacted automatically and he trailed after his lover like a lost puppy.  He cursed silently, wondering at the power the other held over him.

Suddenly it dawned on Kyuhyun and he laughed dumbly at the realization that he never even stood a chance.
