Thirty Nine
Summoning the SupernaturalWe all dispersed shortly thereafter. Well, almost all of us. The moment the last bell of the day rang Seokmin kicked everyone out for some alone time to come to terms with everything that happened and we all gladly complied. Minghao immediately dissapeared into the crowd of students all pushing to get out of the hell hole they called a school as soon as possible. Mingyu, Jeonghan, and Hoshi demanded my number in case of any future emergencies, then, as soon as they got it, they very politely said their goodbyes and dissapeared as well.
Seungkwan and the new guy—Seungcheol—both refused to leave on the basis that there were some things that still needed to be discussed and since I had too weak of a counter argument to refuse the two of them got into the back of my car and came home with me and Jun.
"Nice wallpaper," Seungkwan commented the moment all of us, with the exception of Jun who took the first opportunity presented to him to crash into his own bed, were all comfortably seated around my room. I ran my eyes somewhat nostalgically over the pink floral theme that danced around my walls and muttered a half-hearted thank you.
"Alright," Seungcheol got straight to the point, successfully avoiding any other useless pleasantries. "We need a game plan. And since we're the only three people that really know what we're dealing with, I figured we can at the very least brainstorm."
"No, hang on now," I interrupted. "Out of everyone I summoned only Seungkwan and I have come into contact with the butterflies. And seeing as you have no scars anywhere on you I'm not inclined to believe you've dealt with them before we met. In fact, I really don't know anything about you aside from the fact that I summoned you and I was told by someone I have yet to meet to trust you. So forgive me if I prefer to start us off with an introduction and perhaps an explanation as to how, exactly, you have to come to understand what we're dealing with."
