It was the morning of December 22nd.

I woke up from the sound of my phone alarm at 6am. Even though I’m on Christmas break, I still wake up early like I do when I go to school. Being a teacher has its pros and cons. One of the best things is paid Christmas vacation.

It’s the best time of my life compared to when I was in a band who’s struggling to balance a hectic schedule especially during peak seasons where parties are everywhere. Well, I am teaching music now. What else could I ask for—

“Can I stay here for a while?”

I was surprised to see little Daehan rolling on top of me. This kid is really the sweetest I can’t help but smile at his sweet gesture. He was practically sleeping on my tummy now.

“Sure,” I mumbled, brushing his with my fingers. Among the three, Daehan has the softest hair. He probably got it from his father because my sister and I have ample wavy hair, which Manse inherited.

“I’m cold,” he whispered.

Ugh. This boy.

“Are you? Do you want me to hug you?”

“Yea,” He slightly nods so I pulled the comforter over me to cover his precious body.

“There you go,” I pat his back as I fixed the crease of the sheets. “Sleep now, little prince. It’s still early.”

Then I tried to close my eyes as well to get a little more sleep.

As per Solar’s instruction, she had the maid prepare their playroom to be our temporary sleeping room, so I can watch the kids as they sleep. Although they have their own room. Just for my sister’s peace of mind, I need to sleep with them.

Speaking of my sister, she went home late last night, and she told me she’d be leaving early today. Maybe she just left. I reached out for my phone to make sure, in case she’s left me a message early on.
