Day 6: In which Leeteuk can't catch a break
Gingerbread and Tinsel“I’m so gonna win,” Donghae grins, packing snow into his hands before mashing it into his snowman’s head.
“As if,” Hyukjae scoffs. “Mine has relevance. It’s BB8! Who doesn’t love Star Wars?”
“I’m not sure these kids will know what it is,” Donghae frowns, pulling off a glove to arrange stones into a smile. “But they’ll definitely know what mine is.”
“A basic snowman,” Hyukjae drawls, “what high standards you’re setting.”
Heechul tunes them out and continues to entertain his nephews and nieces. And by entertain, he means teaching them to throw snowballs at Jungsoo. “Take that, Teukie!” he yells, elated that his revenge requires such little effort. “My slice of cake won’t look so tempting next time, will it? And stop taking my shirts! And stop taking my jeans; you don’t have the for them!”
“It was one time,” Jungsoo yelps, not looking where he’s going as he flees. When he runs between Sungmin and Kyuhyun’s snow fortresses and into their snowball fight, he gives up with a whimper and curls up on the snow. Saeun’s head pops up from behind Sungmin’s barricade and she frowns. “Stop!” she yells, the sound easily carrying over the open snow. She swats Sungmin until he ceases fire, and glares stonily as Kyuhyun and Henry shamelessly pelt Jungsoo with snowballs. Looking around, she spots Donghee and Youngwoon. “Donghee,” she shrieks, ignoring Donghae’s jolt of surprise. “Stop the babies from bullying Jungsoo!”
