My name is Eun Seol ah, this is my Korean name, I've graduated high school a year ago and I'm finally going to college soon. Welcome to my world, you're my new best friend. I'm gonna tell you every single thing about my life, I'm sorry for ignoring you all this time. In fact, after I brought you almost a year ago I didn't really know what to tell you. The truth is my life is not that great and I kept waiting for something special to happen so you'll be the first one to know. Dear diary, I've been studying Korean a while ago, I'm not so into k-pop and all these very popular boy bands, I only listen to ballads, but I've always wanted to go to Korea, it's a really beautiful country.. Guess what? I'm actually going there soon. I got a scholarship and I'm going to study and live there, can you believe that? My life is finally going to be better, and exciting just like the way I've always wanted it to be. You cannot imagine how happy I am right now. >>

After I finished writing in my diary with a huge smile on my face, I looked all over my room mumbling "you've been nothing but bad memories to me... I can't wait to get out of here"

I took my laptop and kept watching some random videos on youtube until I suddenly saw a video on my suggestions, it was a k-pop live music video, I do not usually listen or watch that but since I wasn't watching something special I thought I could give it a try. Once I clicked on the video, the first guy who started singing caught my attention, His smile, his dimples, his voice... I mean I know that k-pop idols are pretty attractive, but this one... he seemed different. "who is that?" - I asked myself

The song is so beautiful, I understood from some lyrics and comments ( due to my limited Korean) that is dedicated to this group's fans. " Woah.. these guys are no joke. Their voice is amazing and they seem like they're really good friends." - I squeaked

But the voice of that guy with dimples kept repeating in my head. His voice is so sweet, I wouldn't mind listening to that voice forever.

I finally arrived in Korea, OMG I'm finally here!!!!!

But why am I feeling this way, I'm so dizzy... It's probably because of the long flight since it's my first time. I heard some noise and turned to see a huge crowd in the other corner of the airport.

"Ah... Kids, they're obsessed with celebrities nowadays" - Sighed an Ajumma (middle-aged woman) who was standing right behind me. And before I could look back someone bumped into me and made me fall on the ground, I was so annoyed. I stood up and kept walking, suddenly things became blurry and before I fall down again, I felt someone catching me.

"Are you okay?" - He said

"T-Thank y- " I looked at his face, and before I could thank him I froze in my place.

"Um... Uhh.. dimples? um.. sweet voice? Inf-" - I gasped

He giggled and said " Myungsoo... It's Kim Myungsoo" - He smiled while still holding me in his arms.

There was a weird smell of something burning. I was too dizzy that I lost consciousness.

I woke up and the smell was stronger.

" OH NO. OH, MY GOD. NO NO NO " -I screamed while running to the kitchen. " Great, now my lunch is burned." - I said while letting out a heavy sigh

I looked at the clock and it's already 11:30 " Oh no I can't be late for my part-time job again, I only have 30 min. " I fixed my hair quickly and put my clothes on then went straight to the bus station. Luckily, it only takes me 20min to get to the place where I work.

I got on the bus and tried to catch my breath from all the running. Then looked at the sky, the weather was so nice, it's spring. " What a dream!" - I exclaimed

"Kim Myungsoo? Is that really your name?" I took my phone and googled it. I was shocked when I saw the results. "KIM MYUNGSOO????" - I said out loud which made all the people on the bus look at me. I apologized and looked back at my phone. I didn't care about how embarrassing that was, but the fact that I've seen him in my dreams right after I saw him on the screen, and the way I knew his name was unbelievable. How can something like this happen?

The bus stopped and I quickly got out and checked the time on my phone. It's already 12:05.

"Oh no, I'm late. " I ran to the makeup shop I'm working in.

The boss was standing right in front of the opening door. " As usual you're late again." -He firmly said.

"I'm... I'm so sorry, I will make sure that it never happens again." - I said with an apological voice

"What is your excuse this time huh? you took the wrong bus again?" "I-I.. " before I could say anything he looked at me with a straight face and said " Whatever, I'll cut down your salary for this month" - He smirked and got back to the shop.

I let out a heavy sigh and went directly to the change room so I can get ready for work. I unlocked my phone and his photo was still there. "This all happened because of you" I glared at him, then put my things in the locker.

(.. A month later)

"I can't believe I'm finally going there, I'm so happy but... " I said to Anna looking down while a tear fell on my cheek

"Aww look at our crybaby" -she said with a childlike voice, then she continued "You're going there to assure a better life and future for yourself, cheer up you crybaby hm? I'm so glad you got that scholarship, I really hated seeing you struggling on your own after all what happened, don't forget to eat healthily and sleep well, okay? I know you're obsessed with taking pictures of everything but yourself, send them all to me, I will text you every day."

"Okay okay I will tell you everything, looks like someone is even more excited than me " we both giggled

I checked the time on my phone "Unnie, I should go now, I'll call you once I get there" I said after I gave her a tight hug

That girl is my best friend and my life saver, I cannot imagine my life without her, I will miss her so much. She's the only person I can trust and talk to and she's always there for me. She's the one who made me learn Korean, and if my life is getting so much better now, it's thanks to her. I'm so thankful. I literally owe her my life.
