Fated

Description

There are things people never tell. That was something your mom used to say. Her mother told her that, and her grandmother had told her daughter too. It was a wise statement transferred through generations in your family. You ignored who said that or why it was said in the first place, but you didn’t care, the truth was it was right so you didn’t need to know anything else. Just keep it in mind.

Remembering that when you met Kim Junmyeon would have been a smart move. Since the beginning, you felt the connection. An irresistible attraction dragging you to him, and you could tell he felt it too. It could have been the perfect love story that you knew from romantic comedies or you had read about so many times. A perfect fantasy. But that was real life, and everybody knows real life , so it wouldn’t take long till you found out why you should have never forgotten your mom’s words.

Betrayed, fooled and stupid. That was how you felt when you realized how little you knew him and how easy had been for him to win your confidence.

The worst part? Being finally aware that you didn’t know him at all and he knew everything about you. Probably.

And just probably because, yet again, there are things people never tell.

Foreword

When the clock finally hit 7:00 a sigh of exhaustion and relief left your mouth. You had been wanting to go home since you had started to work at 23:00. Every single day since they hired you, when the time to finish your work period was coming, you couldn’t help but wonder why did you accept a night shift, and wouldn’t find any valid reason. Of course, when the night was coming and your entry time was near you remembered exactly why you had accepted it. You were as poor as a rat and if you wanted to keep studying, you needed that job to pay for basically everything.
