Chapter Ten

“Where are we going?” I ask after him asking me to leave already. We’re walking and he nonchalantly hands me a piece of paper and I read the address written on it. “So, what are we going to do here?”

“My home.” He continues walking and he turns his head to look at me, “I don’t know how to go there.”

I look at the address again and it’s a place where expensive apartments and penthouses is located. “How did you get yourself a place here?” I raise an eyebrow suspiciously while looking back at him.

“I have my ways. You don’t have to know.”

“This isn’t illegal, right?”

“You’re really an idiot.”

“I was just asking. I don’t want to be in jail.” I mumble and takes my phone of out of my pocket to search what kind of transportation we could take to go there. “So, we have to take the bus.”

Why his place does needs to be almost an hour away from mine?

I walk with him towards the nearest bus station leading the way and looks at the small board to check at the bus number and what time it will be arriving. “Listen to me, alright?” I turn around to look at him and he walks closer. Gosh, he looks like a good puppy. “Remember this number, okay? And you can also check the time here when will the first and last bus leaves. If ever you didn’t catch the last bus, you can just take the cab.”

Sehun nods his head. He seems to be memorizing it. He’s a Death God. I’m sure he’s intelligent.

After waiting a couple of minutes, the bus with the right number finally arrives and we both step inside. I even show him the T-Card and how to scan it to pay. I settle down on one of the free seats and he does next to me. “Do you even remember everything that I said?”

“I guess.”

I sigh softly and looks outside the window because we don’t have anything to talk about, really.

All of a sudden, I start to look down on my wrist, unconsciously touching my wrist where Sehun said, us human’s expiration date are written in roman numerals. Shivers run down the middle of my spine as I look around the people here on earth makes me nervous all of a sudden. Sehun can’t see mine, I wonder if he could see my mother’s expiration
