Ever since then, nothing really happened between Eunji and I. During our after-class practices, she wouldn’t even look at my direction anymore. It felt like she hid herself behind taller walls that even my voices couldn’t get through.
I never tried, to be honest.
It felt like, I was avoiding her as well. I had an internal conflict, and I’m not planning to pursue her until I sorted out my feelings which I think is a big mistake. Time flew by too quickly.
And I didn’t realize, holidays are soon coming around.
I sat on my usual seat on our group’s usual table, being as silent as possible. In all honesty, my eyes are only staring at that brunette from across the cafeteria. She was eating with Ong Seungwoo, seemingly lost in her own world.
II spared Bomi unnie a glance, half-confused of her statement and half-amused that she knows a word of more than a usual kid’s vocabulary. But that was totally beside the point.
“What are you looking at?” Bomi unnie asked in confusion as she earned looks from us.
