Luhan's feet hurt as he kept walking, staring at the cars that kept coming and going on the busy roads.
He stopped for a minute and tried to look inside the vehicles and he saw some blurred faces. People smiling, laughing, some sad faces too.
It is a strange thing to stop and stare at strangers. It makes you realise that other humans have a life too.
We just live our own little life. But there are so many other lives. So many other people with feelings and emotions just like our own.
All those people going or coming from some place. Far places or near places. The only thing they had in common was that feeling of travelling fast speed. Some returning to their family, or going to work, or going to cheat maybe. Heaven knows what hides inside people. We are so unpredictable creatures, us humans.
Shivering, in the cold, Luhan sadly started walking again. He didn't really know where his feet were taking him. But he felt like he was going somewhere, and not just wandering around hopelessly.
He knew he had a destination in mind. He didn't know how or why but he knew he was headed towards a place where he could get help to get back home.
He faintly remembered walking this way in the past.
And to be honest, what else could he do? He was helpless in a big world, where he didn't feel like he belonged. So what else could he do, than follow his instinct?
Trembling as a cold breeze made its way under its clothes on his face, he massaged his cheek, which still stung.
Luhan never stopped walking until he reached a big house. It was a mansion.
He stood, momentarily forgetting about the pain, and stared at amazement at the beauty of the place. Whoever lived in that place, must be very lucky.
And obviously rich.
