Chapter 5

 

TaeNy’s POV

 

Fany and her employees are at a club in one of the Hwang’s hotel celebrating their big contract they got. Tae sits next to Fany

 

‘ Fany ’

 

Fany flinches when she heard Tae’s voice.

 

‘ Hey, are you alright? ’

 

‘ I’m fine ’

 

‘ Did I do something wrong? ’

 

‘ No, why? ’

 

‘ Why are you avoiding me? ’

 

‘ I’m not. I’m just busy ’ Fany said without looking into Tae eyes

 

When Tae is about to talk, they heard

 

‘ Miss Hwang, miss Kim. Come drink with us ’ one of the employee ask

 

Slowly during the night, they start to get drunk. Tae get’s Fany into the hotel’s room.

 

‘ Fany, please moving. I can’t find the card ’ the drunk Tae said

 

‘ Tae, let’s drink again ’

 

‘ Finally ’ Tae got the card from her purse.

 

The older girl get the ceo into her room because Fany forgot her card inside the room and they are too drink to ask the reception.

 

Inside the room, Fany suddenly kisses Tae’s lips.

 

‘ Mmmm.......... ’ Tae slowly pushes the eyes-smiles girl from her

 

‘ Why? You don’t want me ’ the drunk girl asks

 

‘ Fany, you are drunk ’

 

Fany giggles

 

‘ I’m not drunk, let’s play with me Tae ’

 

The younger girls starts stripping herself, Tae quickly stops her.

 

‘ Yah...what are you doing? ’

 

‘ Let’s play together Tae ’ Fany whispers into Tae’s ear then kisses the older girl on the lips.

 

Slowly, Tae starts kissing back.

 

The next morning, Fany wakes up and feels her head explode. She panics when she feels a pair of arm around her waist. She turns and saw Tae sleeping next to her . She looks down and realizes she is too.

 

Then the ceo slowly remembers what happen last night. She quickly gets off the bed without waking Tae. While searching for her clothes

 

‘ Fany, what are you doing? ’

 

She turns and saw Tae looking at her.

 

‘ I need to go ’

 

‘ Fany.... ’

 

‘ Tae, it was a mistake last night. I was too drunk, please can we forget it. It’s just a one night stand ’

 

With this words, she disappears inside the bathroom. Not long, she comes out already dress. Without looking at Tae, she walks out the room. What Fany didn’t know it’s that she just broke Tae’s heart into piece.

 

On Monday, Fany avoids Tae the whole day. After work, Tae decides to talk with Fany.

 

JeTi’s POV

 

‘ Fany? ’

 

‘ Sica, I’m in trouble ’

 

‘ Are you alright? Where are you? ’

 

‘ I’m fine. In my office ’

 

‘ Then what trouble are you getting in? ’ Sica sighs in relief

 

‘ I slept with Taeyeon ’

 

Fany heard Sica giggles on the other line

 

‘ Yah......Jessica Jung, did you heard me? ’

 

‘ I’m sorry Fany ’

 

‘ Are you with someone? ’

 

Fany heard Sica whispering something

 

‘ I’m sorry Fany, what did you just said? ’

 

‘ I said I slept with Taeyeon ’

 

‘ You are kidding right? ’

 

‘ I was too drunk and I even know what I was doing that night. God, Sica what should I do? I tried to avoid her during those time after I know she have feeling for me and now..... ’

 

‘ Do you love her? ’

 

‘ What? Yah...are you crazy??? I’m straight ’

 

‘ Are you sure? ’

 

‘ Of course I am. Sica I can’t believe I gave my first time to a girl. I shouldn’t drink too much that night ’

 

‘ Fany, what is done is done. Just consider it as a one night stand ’

 

‘ That’s what I told her but it’s still my first time. I want to give it to someone I love.... ’ When Fany turns her head, she saw Tae standing in front of her office

 

‘ Fany, are you still there? ’

 

‘ I’ll talk to you later ’

 

TaeNy’s POV

 

‘ So you know my feeling for you that’s why you avoid during those time ’

 

‘ I’m sorry, I don’t know what to do. You are my friend and......... ’

 

‘ And what? ’

 

‘ I never thought you will feel that way to me ’

 

‘ Yes, I love you but I just keep it in me because I know you are not into girl. I didn’t tell you it’s because I’m scare that you will distance yourself from me. Am I really that disgusting in your eyes ’

 

‘ What? Of course no ’

 

Tae chuckles bitterly

 

‘ Well you action prove the opposite ’

 

Fany saw tears falling from Tae and she feels guilty for hurting her friend.

 

‘ Tae, I’m sorry ’ Fany is about to walk toward Tae

 

‘ Stop, don’t come near me ’

 

‘ Tae..... ’

 

‘ You are right. Maybe we shouldn’t even been friend at the beginning. I’m sorry about that night. I won’t bother you anymore. From now on, you are just my boss nothing more ’

 

‘ Please Tae, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you. ’

 

Fany hold Tae’s hand

 

‘ But you already did ’ Tae said then left

 

After Tae left, Fany feels her heart hurt but don’t know why.

 

She is my friend, that’s why I feel hurt seeing her like this. I’m the one making her cry. I should apologize tomorrow – Fany thought

 

The next day, Fany went to Tae’s office.

 

* Knock knock *

 

When Tae looks up, Fany saw the older girl swollen eyes.

 

‘ Yes miss Hwang ’

 

‘ I told you, when we are alone stop calling me miss Hwang ’

 

‘ You are my boss ’

 

‘ Are you done? Let’s have diner together ’ Fany smiles trying to make them less awkward

 

‘ Is it about a project? ’

 

‘ No ’

 

‘ I can’t ’ Tae puts her files away then walks pass Fany

 

‘ Tae, please let’s talk ’

 

‘ Miss Hwang, please call me Taeyeon. We have nothing to talk unless it’s related to work ’

 

‘ Aren’t we friend? ’

 

‘ Not anymore ’

 

Tae left the office, leaving Fany inside the office. The ceo feels tears falling down and hold her chest

 

Why is so hurt – Fany thought

 

Yuri’s POV

 

I tried to call Yoona almost every day since she left. My life is miserable withtout her. I never meant a word about what I said that day. She is the best thing that happen in my life and I just blow it off.

 

I can’t be selfish anymore, I finally take my courage and talk with my parents.

 

‘ Yuri, what do you want to talk with us? ’ appa asks

 

‘ I want to cancel my engagement with Sunhwa ’

 

‘ Why? ’ umma asks

 

‘ I don’t love her well I never love her. I already have someone in my heart ’ I finally said it

 

‘ You do know it’s not only about you. It’s about our business too ’ appa said

 

‘ Why you just think about your business. I’m your daughter. Have you ever think about me. I can’t get marry with Sunhwa ’ I said firmly

 

‘ Who’s that girl? ’ he asks

 

‘ Yoona. The girl I love and want to get marry with name Im Yoona. She was an employee of us ’

 

‘ I will never agree. You will get marry with Sunhwa ’ appa said

 

‘ I’m not getting married with her. I will only marry Yoona ’

 

‘ No, you don’t have a choice ’

 

‘ Yes, I have a choice. I will leave this family if you don’t accept Yoona ’

 

‘ How dare you...... ’

 

Umma stops appa from getting near me

 

‘ Honey, please calm down ’

 

Umma looks at me

 

‘ Darling, apologize to your appa ’

 

‘ I did nothing wrong. I just want to be with someone I love. I did nothing wrong ’

 

‘ You are the heiress of the Kwon’s Corporation. You can’t get married with an employee ’

 

‘ Then I don’t want to be the heiress. All I need is Yoona ’

 

‘ Do you know everyone want to be at your place but you...how can you say you don’t want to be the heiress. You choose that girl instead of your family ’

 

‘ I’m sorry appa. I already told you what I want. Accept Yoona or I will leave this family ’

 

Appa didn’t saw a word for a long minute then he suddenly chuckles

 

‘ You finally stand up for yourself ’

 

I look at him confusedly

 

‘ I really want to meet that Im Yoona of yours. You never dare to make the opposite of what we told you but because of that girl you stand strong in front of us. Now you look more than our heiress ’

 

‘ Appa… ’

‘ Yuri we arrange everything for you not because we want to control you. You never say what you want or say no to us. Your umma and me are happy that you finally grow up and make you own decision ’

 

‘ Appa, umma it’s that mean you accept Yoona? ’

 

‘ Yes, darling ’ umma smiles

 

‘ How about that engagement? ’ I ask

 

‘ We’ll talk to Sunhwa’s parents. They still need our support for their business, I’m sure they won’t say no ’

 

I hug appa and umma

 

‘ Thank you ’

 

‘ Bring Yoona to us, we really want to meet that amazing girl ’ appa pats my back

 

‘ She left me I don’t know where she is ’

 

My parents looks at me wanting more explanation so I tell them.

 

‘ Don’t worry, we’ll find her for you ’ appa said

 

SooSica’s POV

 

Sica is sitting in the living room watching some tv show until she heard the door opens. When she looks up she saw Soo comes in with a few bags of groceries.

 

‘ I thought you won’t come tonight ’ Sica walks toward her lover

 

Soo smiles

 

‘ Well I went to the supermarket then I remember that your fridge is empty so I bought your grocery too ’

 

The tall girl then looks at her girlfriend head to toe

 

‘ What’s wrong? ’ Sica asks

 

‘ Why are you wearing like this? ’

 

‘ Is there a problem? ’ Sica looks down

 

Well the older girl is just wearing an oversize with shirt and underwear

 

‘ You are wearing an almost see throught shirt. Go change it ’

 

‘ Is more comfortable like this. Also, I’m living alone. It’s not like someone will see me like this. Even if someone see me like this is only you ’ Sica hugs Soo

 

‘ What if someone see you from the window? ’

 

‘ I live on the 50^th floor ’

 

‘ Then what if there’s a fire in the building? Don’t tell me you’ll run out like this ’

 

Sica chuckles ‘ Just tell me that you don’t want me to wear like this ’

 

‘ Fine, I don’t like it. Just go change will you ’

 

‘ Ok but give me a kiss first ’

 

Soo shakes her head ‘ Go change first ’

 

Sica pouts and walks toward her bedroom. After the older girl change into a pyjama, she went out form her bedroom and saw the tall girl in the living room flipping a magazine.

 

The ceo takes the magazine away from Soo and sits on her lover’s lap. Soo quickly wraps her arms around Sica’s waist preventing the older girl to fall.

‘ That’s better ’ Soo kisses Sica’s lips

 

After they broke off the kiss

 

‘ Don’t wear like this again ’

 

Sica nods while smiling.

 

‘ I need to go, I’ll see you tomorrow at the company party ’

 

‘ Can’t you stay a little bit longer ’ Sica hugs Soo

 

‘ How about I’ll wait until you sleep ’

 

‘ Deal ’

 

The couple walk inside the bedroom, they climb on the bed. Soo hugs Sica

 

‘ Sleep now ’

 

Sica nods and hugs Soo. After a while, Sica already asleep, Soo slowly gets off the bed. Before she left, she kisses Sica’s forehead

 

‘ Good night baby ’

 

The next day at the party

 

Jessica’s POV

 

I just arrive at the party room and saw my parents with Hee Chul and his parents. I sigh and walk toward them

 

‘ Hey Jessica ’ he smiles

 

‘ Hello oppa ’ I smile then greet his parents

 

‘ Jessica, you are so beautiful tonight ’ his mother said

 

‘ Thank you ’ I smile and look around searching for Soo.

 

My parents are talking about something but I didn’t hear it because I’m busy staring at the entrance. Finally I saw Soo comes in. She smiles at me then walk toward her department team.

 

‘ So are you ready for you engagement? ’

 

The word engagement caught my attention. I turn to face my parents after I realize Hee Chul and his parents already left us.

 

‘ What engagement? ’

 

‘ Your engagement with Hee Chul. We decide to have the party and announce your engagement tonight ’ appa said

 

‘ Appa, I’m not getting engage with Hee Chul. I just consider him as my brother I don’t love him ’

 

‘ You will love him, he is a great guy. Get prepare, you’ll get marry with him next month ’

 

‘ What? You can’t do this, it’s my life I have the right to choose ’

 

‘ No, you are the heiress of the Jung’s. Just get ready for the announcement ’

 

When I was about to argue back, umma hold my arm

 

‘ Just listen to your appa ok ’

 

What should I do? Soo, I need to tell her before the announcement.
