TaeMin POV: That was so weird when my step mom and Ryan saw each other. Do they know each other some how?

“Ah honey this is Ryan our new adoptive daughter.” My dad pointed to her.

“Hello” Ryan awkwardly waved

“My name is Soo Jin” My dad’s wife announced

“Oh I forgot to tell you my name is Kyung” my dad introduced

“What do you want me to address you by?” Ryan questioned

“Anything that makes you feel comfortable” Kyung replied

“Could I talk to Ryan alone please?” asked Mai.

“Yes come on TaeMin.” My dad called

mai POV: It’s been 5 years since I last saw Ryan she looks so angry.

“What do you want?” Ryan bluntly asked.

“Now is that a way to treat your mother?” I asked

“Far as I can remember you aren’t my mother.”

“I don’t even know why you hate me!” I nearly yelled

“You are honestly that stupid?” She questioned

“I didn’t want to leave you behind but I had to.” I told her

“Sure you had too.” Ryan frowned at me.

“You were too young to understand.”

“Oh I was smart enough to understand that you only used my father for my money. You gold digging !” Ryan yelled.

I heard a loud crash.

“This conversation isn’t over.” I growled

“Whatever.” Ryan walked out of the room and I followed her.

Taemin POV: I knew that Mai was going to slap Ryan so I knocked over a glass vase and ran. I know Ryan could take care of her own self but I didn’t want her to leave this family. She looks like she needs a family.

“Are you okay?” I asked her.

“Yeah I’m fine.” She nodded

“There was an awkward moment between you and my step mom. Do you two happen to know each other?”

“It’s nothing important.” Ryan walked out of the house. I thought she was going to leave so I followed her.

“Don’t go!” I yelled

Ryan’s POV: Gosh why is he following me?

“I’m not going anywhere; I just came out for fresh air.”

“Oh.” He looked dumbfounded

“You know you could tell me ahead of time, secrets have a way of coming out.” Taemin urged

“Exactly, when the secret comes out you will know.” I smiled then sat by the waterfall. He went back inside.

I received a text.

Hey Ryan or should I say RyAnna! I’ll be back to Seattle next week for your birthday so get ready for me. I miss you little dork!
