Dear Ryan,

            When our mother left us and our dad died, I’ve been writing letters for you ever since then. I know life has an expiration date and writing to you can help you live a full and great life. I don’t know when I will have to leave you but I’m sure if you are reading this something has happened to me. Jay Park better look after you for me. Since he has been my best friend since I can remember. Just remember I’ll be watching after you and I love you. Don’t give up or lose faith in yourself.

“I keep re reading this everyday.” Ryan told her therapist. “It feels longer than a month that he has been gone.”

“You never told me how he passed away, I know it takes time to talk about things like this…” said the Therapist

“It’s okay I’m ready to tell you how it happened.” Sighed Ryan

[Flashback] 

Ryan’s POV:

“Oppa they’re drowning!” I screamed

“Stay right here I’ll help them!” shouted Tae Yang

“Someone call 911 please!” I screamed

10 minutes later the ambulance arrived.

“My brother, please save him!” I cried

“I’m sorry, it’s too late.” Said the EMT

“NO! NO! THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING!” I yelled

“Where’s your parents?” asked the police officer

“I don’t have a parent it’s just my brother.” I told him

Later on that day I was waiting at the hospital.

“I’m sorry I got here as fast as I could.” Jay said while trying to catch his breath.

“He’s gone Jay! He’s gone!” I cried harder

“What happened?!” Jay shouted

“He drowned trying to save these 2 pabos!” I whispered “What am I going to do?”

“Damn, this can’t be happening.” Jay mumbled

“What?!” I tried to catch my breath.

“Your brother said I was supposed to look after you but I’m leaving to Seoul next week.” Jay growled

“You’re leaving me too?”

Jay’s POV: I can’t believe this is happening to her. Besides Tae Yang I’m the only one that she has and now that I have to leave she has nobody.

The news was on and we stopped talking to watch.

News reporter: Today at 5pm, two kids were under the influence and decided to go swimming. A man named Yong Bae Dong saw them drowning so he decided to save them. The two young boys made it but the man who saved them wasn’t too fortunate.

“The people he saved are here but oppa isn’t.” announced Ryan

“Then why are we here?” I was confused

“So I can kick their !” she shouted

“Save your energy let’s go home.” I suggested

“Fine.” She whined

[End of flashback]

“When I went into his room there was a flash drive with my name on it. I looked onto the file and he wrote many letters to me.” I explained

“So did you ever confront the guys who he saved?” asked the Therapist

“Yes and yet they get to live their life merrily I sit here and suffer without my older brother.” I growled.

“You don’t have anyone else?” she questioned me.

“No I had a friend but he moved to South Korea and I didn’t want to stop him” I admitted

“You’re seventeen so I’m guessing you live with a foster family.” she wondered

“I’ll be eighteen in two weeks so no worries.” I said monotone.
