Little Dancer (Binwoo)

Description

Introduction

A teaspoon of first encounters, a tablespoon of team work, and a pinch of, well... LOVE.

Status: ongoing

Warning: this story will be EXTREMELY cheesy at times.

(Hello everyone, this is my first fanfic so please be lenient. I don't know how this will go, and I'm just making up a story so some of the plot might not be what actually happens in real life (heh, no duh). For all binwoo fans out there, I'm sorry if the story is disappointing. I also have horrible grammar so... I'm sorry for the amount of clichés in this story.

Foreword

It's not that Bin had never seen a boy before.

In fact, his best friend is a boy.

But Minhyuk was just a normal boy, with a normal face. And Minhyuk's face was already one of the most handsome faces Bin had ever seen, so you would think that he should have been accustomed to seeing handsome faces.

However, when a new trainee came into the practice room that Monday morning, Bin was shocked to find a face of even higher caliber than that of Minhyuk's.

At first, he'd thought he was daydreaming, which wasn't hard to believe since he was constantly sleepy. But when Minhyuk pinched him for spacing out, Bin knew for certain that it wasn't a dream.

Other than the introduction of the new trainee, morning practice felt no different than any other morning practices. Like always, everyone were to line up behind the dance coach and try to keep up with everything he does.

Dancing is Bin's favorite part of practice. He loves to move around and can learn new dances fairly quick. Though he does admit that Minhyuk is still the number one dancer.

Despite being the sleepy head of the group, Bin was always happy to dance, especially when food is offered for the purpose of refueling after practice.

By 6:30, morning practice was over and all the middle and high schoolers were immediately rushed into the company van so they could make it to both schools on time.

Normally, the trainee manger would pass out breakfast in the practice room so that the van wouldn't get trashed. But because a dance test was scheduled for next week, practice would be extended for the next 2 weeks to prepare for the test.

Although he'd been a trainee for the a long time, Bin is still worried every time he had to dance for a test. Especially when he knows that each move could determine weather or not he'd get a position in Fantagio's new idol group.

In the last 2 tests, 5 out of 19 trainees (not including the new trainee) were already ousted, and the company will continue to reject trainees until there are only 10 or less people left. Then, they would train the remaining trainees until they think the group was ready to debut.

In other words, Bin had to always be prepared. He wasn't going to give up on being an idol when that had been his dream for the past 3 years.

Back then, it had been practice after practice, and Bin was supposed to get back to practice right when school ends.  But he still needed to finish homework so he was always up late, which in turn earned him the nickname sleepy head.

Now, practice was still the same, but being in high school also meant more homework and harder workloads which only added to Bin's growing list of problems. Because Bin's focus was on the upcoming dance test, he had completely forgot about the biology test he was supposed to have that morning. And since he was up til' 4:30 studying, Bin was only able to get an hour of sleep before having to wake up for practice.

Normally, Bin could've finished the test, then just fake a stomachache so he could go rest in the nurse's office. However, his math and English grades had been dropping recently, so Bin had to be in class to actually listen to the lecture.

The only thing he could do is to get a bottle of tea (which has caffeine in it) at the canteen before school starts. Then hope for a miracle because he was not going to be able to learn anything today, not with the potentially massive headache that was gnawing at his skull.

Bin was playing with the thought of skipping gym to try and get some more sleep when the van suddenly made a turn for the middle school. Soon, the 4 middle school trainees ( which includes Minhyuk) were hurdling towards the school gate like Bin would towards a steamy bowl of ramen.

Although the high school wasn't much farther away, it would still take at least 10 minutes for the van to get there, and Bin was going to dedicate every second to sleep before that 10 minutes is up.

Bin had been dead to the world for almost 7 minutes before his sleep was rudely disturbed by a hard slap on his right shoulder. Jolting awake, Bin immediately turned towards his interrupter with a hard glare, that quickly softens at the sight of the trainee manager.

Lowering his head, Bin started to mumble an apology when he was suddenly cut off.

-"Ahem...Moonbin, I have a favor to ask of you."

-"Y-yes sir, w-what is it sir?" Bin said, still looking at the floor and cursing at himself for glaring.

Bin didn't mean to stammer, he was just nervous to face any consequences that might come from his recent attitude. Bin wasn't normally rude, but he still has his moments of anger where he simply wants to rip the other person's eyes out (sorry for the gory description).

Thankfully, that doesn't happen often unless someone was unfortunate enough to be on waking duty and makes the mistake of pulling Bin's blanket off to try and wake him up.

-"This is Dongmin," the trainee manager said as he points to the new trainee next to him, "he already had a tour of the high school yesterday, but I want you to stay with him for a few days and help him adjust."

Well there goes Bin's hope for some more sleeping time.
