"Ravi?"

"You okay, hyung?"

"Oh my God, he's waking up!"

Ravi groaned. ‘Soft…it’s soft. I must be in Taekwoon hyung's bed… Wasn’t I at the hospital?’  He rolled over slightly before a hand stopped him. "Woah, stay still Ravi hyung. Don't hurt yourself." That voice... He recognised that voice... Sanghyuk? 

When Ravi opened his eyes, he expected to see the white ceiling of the room, but instead he saw someone leaning over him. He frowned and blinked a few times, everything was a blur, and panic ran through him.

“H-He’s awake,” the person said, voice different to the one that sounded like Sanghyuk. Awake? Had he passed out or something? He groaned once more and raised his hand shakily, fingers grazing something rough and bumpy on his neck. A bandage... It was different to the dressings he had been given after the surgery. Why didn't he have his dressings? 

Taekwoon, where was Taekwoon? Was he alone? The others had all been at home or work. He was alone! 

The heart monitor connected to Ravi's finger made the machine beep wildly. He looked around with wide eyes as his vision cleared. Hakyeon, Jaehwan, Hongbin, and Sanghyuk all surrounding his bed. All wearing sympathetic smiles; there were tears evident in their eyes. They were all wearing casual clothing, which didn't make sense since Hakyeon was supposed to have been at the salon. Had he really been out that long? 

"Calm down, you're safe now" Hongbin said gently before turning to the others "I'll go and get the doctor."

Hakyeon nodded and watched as the younger man left the room before coming and seating himself in the chair beside the rapper. "Hey there." Ravi scowled and opened his mouth, trying to speak. But his mouth only released a series of pathetic, croaking sounds and the elder shook his head "Relax, you've been through a lot."

But Ravi was determined. "W... What... Tae... kw... oon?"

"Taek-woon? Hyung, what's he saying?" Jaehwan mumbled, his eyebrows knitting together as he sat himself on the edge of the bed. Hakyeon's face crumpled in confusion and he shook his head "I don't know. Ravi, did you say 'Taekwoon'?"

The rapper nodded, the bleeping fo the machine slowing down a little now. A tiny, weak smile fell limply across his features at his lover's name. "T- Taek... woon..." Jaehwan's frown deepened and he shared a concerned glance with Hakyeon and Sanghyuk "Ravi, what do you remember?"

"T- Taekwoon..." Each time he said the name it became easier and clearer. 

Sanghyuk sighed and rolled his eyes slightly "Hyung, you're not making any sense."

"Ah, awake, I see."

They all turned when the doctor entered the room. He wasn't one Ravi remembered seeing round the hospital on his visits. This one was was young- not much older than he was- and carried himself with a little less confidence than Taekwoon's doctor. He was clearly newly qualified. "You took quite a nasty blow to the neck. Luckily, the wound wasn't as deep as it was clumsy; we stitched it up easily." Everybody crowded round the bed released a unanimous sigh of relief while Ravi simply lay there, still too dazed and confused to register anything that was being said.
