Body shaking, Myungsoo stepped away from the ledge, letting a sob escape him. He couldn't do it. As much as he wanted to jump, to join his lover in the afterlife, he just could not bring himself to disappoint Sungjong in such a way. It felt like his soul was drowning in liquid magma but he couldn't take the final step to end his suffering, not if it meant hurting the person who meant the most to him.

"Myungsoo..." A hand was placed on his shoulder and he couldn't bring himself to face the owner.

"Woohyuh... I couldn't do it... I'm the worst kind of coward..." He whispered, placing a hand over Woohyun's. There was a commotion as the others clambered onto the roof behind him. Barely even realizing he was moving, Myungsoo found himself led away from the edge.

"Myungsoo!" Sungyeol shouted, his eyes red and puffy as though he had been crying as he ran to embrace The mourning man. "Don't do that! You scared me! I love you, idiot!"

"I know..." Myungsoo sighed, rubbing the other man's back gently. "I'm sorry, Sungyeol."

"We need to get him home and cleaned up." Dongwoo suggested, holding on to Howon's hand tightly.

"And maybe sobered up." Sungkyu shook his head. "You really scared all of us, you know."

"I know." Myungsoo nodded, still trying to comfort a clinging Sungyeol.

"Come on. I'll drive." Howon led the march back into the building. Holding back, Myungsoo looked down at the man wrapped around him.

"Can I ask you a favor?" He questioned, biting his lip, hating himself for what he was about to suggest.

"Anything." Sungyeol step back finally, giving him a concerned look.

"I... I can't move on surrounded by memories of Sungjong..." His voice as he adverted his gaze to the concrete rooftop. "I can't survive in his shadow. I... I need a place to stay."

"I have more than enough space for you." Sungyeol held his hand gently. "Everything will be okay." As the other man began to lead Myungsoo inside, he spotted a familiar blonde figure, face turned up to the falling snow. Sungjong turned, giving him a soft, sad smile before fading away. Myungsoo didn't know what the future would hold, he didn't even know if he could move on, but he knew he no longer was living his life just for himself. He had to live for Sungjong as well.
