Level 2

The clouds tend to gather in the sky and seconds later it started to pour heavily. The sounding of thunder roaring could be heard continuously adding onto the creepy and eerie feeling as they explored more areas in the mansion.

An uneasy breeze blew right pass Jay and Chaerin, grasping them with it's chilly touch as they continued on with their search at level 2. Due to the gigantic interior design, there were still a couple of rooms they have not visited yet. They were being accompanied by the squeaking sound coming from the old wooden flooring which surface was so pale as to feel like a ghostly echo of the lustrous wood it once was, freshly felled with the fragrance of the forest.

"Hmm, the other rooms should be this way...," Jay said

"'I'm surprised Jay. You seemed to be leading the way all along like as if you know this place well. Have you been here?" Chaerin questioned him as she did little jogs to catch up with his pace

Jay gave a long paused before anwering.

"My dad...he was an architecture and he design a couple of mansions before so kinda of know about it here and there. Let's not waste time and search for the key alright?" 

"Architecture huh? I see. I'll check the bathroom," Chaerin suggested

The single toilet window was mildly dirty, a flood of light flowed into the room. Dust swirled around the room as Amber made her way inside. The medicine cabinet mirror lay shattered in pieces on the floor tile. Empty medicine bottle lay in the porcelain sink. The only sound to be heard was the drip, drip of the faucet.

A closer look revealed the discoloration of the water, a brownish concoction. A lone mouse stood sentry at the bottom of the tub. Never having a visitor in a while, it curiously eyed her before scuttling away. Approaching the bathtub, a violent odor made it way to her nose. Pinching her nose, she leaned over and peered inside. Chaerin was taken aback by a pool of blood that still looked fresh in the bath tub causing her to almost throw up but successfully managed to control herself by retreating back till she was right in front of an oval shaped mirror.

"Chaerin~~~Chaerin~~~"

A female sinister voice called out her name that a sudden chill started running down her spine as Chaerin daringly lifted her face and stare at the mirror. Chaerin when as white as sheet upon what she saw directly opposite her. A pale looking teenage girl, who have long, straight white hair with eyes without any pupil and outline of her eyes being surroundeed by non-stop flowing blood, was glaring like as if Chaerin owe her something. 

"I...I don't...tsk...he...," Suga who was looking so sick stuttered, acting so paranoid

"He what?!" Chaerin insisted Suga to continue finishing his sentence

"He said...he said he wanted to check the other room...the moment he went in...the door slam shut..and..and..tsk...all I heard was his scream.When...I went in..Simon is gone...," Suga stuttered, shivering in fright

Everyone was spellbound with terror seizing all of them, wondering in their mind what this mansion has in stored for them. There was a moment of silence when Monster broke it by showing the blue key that he found.

"You have the key? We have it too," Zic said, taking out the green coloured key out from his pocket

"We have the key too," Jay alerted showing their yellow coloured key

Still in panic-stricken mode, Suga retrieved a orange coloured key from his pocket and revealed it to them.

"Woah, woah, woah. Hold on a sec. It doesn't make sense for 4 keys to open one lock. What makes you think it's the right keys? They may all look the same but what if it doesn't fit the lock?

"Umm, shouldn't we be worried about Simon instead of the money now?" Eva voiced out

"She's right. We gotta look for Simon. His life is important," Jay added on as he eyed Eva in a very strange manner

"Alright Monster and Suga lets go. We'll search the attic of this mansion," Amber said with Monster who was still in shock of what happened earlier, following her from behind

A flicker of anger could be seen being displayed on Zic's face as he witnessed Amber strolling away with those two guys which he wished could be him. Boiling with rage, Zic stomped away trying not to be so sensitive about this small matter with Eva tailing his direction assuming that they still have to stick with their pairs.

The attic was dead silence except for the sound of evident of rain seeping through the corner of the roof.

"Simon?!! You there buddy?" Monster called out shinning his torch around while Amber and Suga went a few distance away from him to check

Silence was what he got in return. He went on to check behind those half torn curtain that was made out off fabric and as he was doing so, a creaking sound could be heard clearly. It was so obvious that it was coming from the wooden rocking chair that was only centimetres away from him. His heartbeat started to race in multiple speed as he continuously rubbed his eyes to ensure that he was not dreaming or imgaining stuffs. 

He kept staring at it without a blink for a few second when the rocking came to halt at one point of time causing Monstr's stomach to tighten. The feeling of someone staring at him in anger was so strong he could really sense it. The rocking chair started to move in a very slow motion giving the effect like something was going to pop out from nowhere.

*BAMP*

Monster froze when the rocking chair slammed itself towards the old cabinet. He felt like he was out of his mind, he reversed his steps when he accidentally bumped onto someone.

"Monster what's wrong man? You alright?"

"Amber? Thank God, did you just see what I witnessed?" Monster questioned with a little bit of panic in his tone

"Witness what?"

"Just now...Over there?!!! That rocking chair it was---

Monster paused his sentence the moment he saw Amber's eyes slowly turning red and her expression changes to be a sinister one. 

"You mean, MY CHAIR!!!" 

"AAAHHHHH!! GET AWAY FROM ME" he yelled and fell backwards as he covered his eyes from seeing that horrific face

Daringly, a few seconds later, with shivery hands, he exposed his eyes to scan his surroundings when he saw Amber came running to him.

"Ay whats wrong with you? Why are you down on the ground?"

"Amber? Phew, finally it's the real you!!! We have to get out of here!!!"Monster exclaimed, feeling so terrified and paronoid in case the ghost were to appear again

"Where are you going so soon? Hmm? Muahahahahahha~!!!!" the spirit let out a witch laugh that he went pale on the spot

"AHHHHH!!!! GET AWAY!!! DON'T BOTHER ME!!" Monster sceamed his lungs out

"Monster?!! Hey, calm down what happened?" that familiar voice could be heard again

"AAHHHHH!! GET AWAY FROM ME YOU EVIL SPIRIT!!" he warned and reversed back his steps till his back hit a cabinet  

"What evil spirit? What are you talking about?!"

"Don't think you could trick me again! Now get the hell away from me!!" Monster raged, secretly retrieving whatever he could felt from the surface of the cabinet

"Dude what is wrong with you? You need to calm down alright?"

As Amber was about to pat his back, Monster swing her hand harshly away and grabbed an old rusty ranch that was nearby and pointed it towards Amber, already on standby mode for an attack. 

"Get the hell away from me. You're not Amber!" Monser exclaimed in frusration

"You are not in the right mind ok? It might be you're shock or something. I am Amber," she told him, with her hands on his shoulder to calm him down

"I'm not that stupid alright? YOU'RE NOT!!" Monster exclaimed infuriatedly and without thinking right he stabbed Amber on the stomach with  the metal ranch he was holding.

"MONSTER?!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" Suga yelled with his jaw dropping expression
