EUNJUNG'S POV

"Oppa. It's night time. Why are you still wearing your glasses?" She asks me and that made me stop.

I gulp.

Damn.

Who wears sunglasses at night?

She moves closer to me and take off my sunglasses.

I never thought I'll get busted this early.

"You're..."

She's staring at me right now.

Maybe she already recognizes me.

But...

She suddenly smile sweetly.

"You're so handsome oppa. Don't cover your eyes" She said in a very sweet tone of voice.

I was mesmerized.

"Here" She said and handed me my sunglasses.

I can't believe it.

She really didn't recognize me?

Does she really think I'm a man?

We continue walking

"By the way I'm Jiyeon" She said introducing herself.

"I'm Eun-"

I suddenly forget that I can't speak right now.

I look at her and she's looks surprise.

Damn Ham Eunjung you messed up!!

"Wow oppa your voice too cute." She said with a smile on her face.

I sigh in relief.

But it's really a miracle that she can't recognize me.

Is five years long enough for her to forget me that easily?

Or maybe she really doesn't care about me now.

"Are you ok oppa?" She ask me and I got startled because she suddenly cup my face.

"H-huh?" I nervously ask.

She smile and pinch my cheeks hard lightly.

"Your face is so soft oppa and you act weird too. What was your name again?" She asks.

"I-I'm a-am. E....EJ. I'm EJ" I just said.

Now I'm really lying just to get near to her.

"EJ Oppa. You seem really nervous. Do you like me?" She asks me.

Damn.

Why so straight forward?

I'm speechless.

"If I say yes would you run away?" I ask intentionally changing my voice.

She looks at me in the eyes.

There she goes again with the staring but I won't look away.

"Nope. It's not impossible for someone to fall in love with this gorgeous goddess" She said and laughs.

It made me smile.

What do I expect?

Jiyeon will be Jiyeon.

The one and only gorgeous goddess Park Jiyeon.

"To be honest oppa. I never go out with strangers but I feel so comfortable around you. You seem to be a nice guy. Aren't you?" she asks me.

"I don't bite" I said and she giggled.

"And you're funny too" She said

"Wouldn't your boyfriend be mad that you go out tonight with me?" I ask her.

She laughs.

"I don't have a boyfriend" she said.

Right, she doesn't have a boyfriend. She have Hyeri and Hyeri is a girl.

"Uhm but you do have a girlfriend. The one who came out from your room this afternoon" I said.

"A girl? You mean Hyeri?" She asks and giggled.

I just shrug coz I have to pretend like I don't know who is Hyeri.

"Hyeri is my friend. A very good friend of mine. She's my apprentice too but no, she's not my girlfriend" She said and that made me smile.

It makes me wanna jump around.

Hyeri is not her girlfriend!

I'm so happy!

"You seem happy" she said

"I'm just happy coz it means I can court you then" I said and she was shock.

I know it's too fast but I'm really desperate to get her back.

And I'm willing to do anything to have her again even if that means I have to be a man.

"Are you serious? We just met" She said.

I took her hand.

It's still soft like before and really like holding it.

"I know this is sudden but I'm doing this with all good intentions. Allow me to court you. I promise I won't be doing things that you don't like. I really like you Jiyeon" I said to her.

"This is so fast and so weird too that it's hard for me to say no to you" She said and I smile.

It makes me jump in joy.

"YES!"

I'm just so happy.

"Yah! Stop it! I just let you court me even if it's weird. I'm not your girlfriend yet!" She said and stops me from jumping and shouting.

I stop and we both laugh.

"You're really funny oppa" She said.

"I'm just happy that you allow me. Thank you" I said to her.

"I'm hungry now." She suddenly whined and pouts.

"Then, let's go grab something to eat. There's a restaurant in at the corner. It's not that far." I said to her but she sat on the bench.

"Too lazy to walk oppa" She said.

Hmm.

"How about I carry you on my back?" I ask her.

She looks at me like she was asking if I'm being serious.

So I kneel down showing my back to her.

"C'mon." I said.

"Are you sure about this?" She asks while she gets on my back.

"Yup. I am" I said and lift her up.

I can't contain the happiness I'm feeling right now.

Being this close to her and spending time with her is a thing that I really miss all this years.

"Oppa you’re so skinny for a man" She commented.

"You like a guy with a muscular body?" I ask her.

"Not really." She said.

I intentionally walk slowly so that I could enjoy this moment with her.

"Have you been in a relationship before?" I ask.

"Yeah. I had a girlfriend before" She said.

It's me.

"What happen?" I ask.

"Well, she proposed to my sister so I just leave with Hyeri." she said.

It's a misunderstanding.

"Where did you go?" I ask.

"We live in Singapore. My life there revolves around work and home" She said.

At least she never dated anyone.

"Do you love your girlfriend?" I ask her.

"I think I do" She said.

What was that?

"You think? So you're not sure?" I still ask even though it hurts to know that fact.

"I don't know. It's very confusing and complicated actually. How about you oppa? Do have girlfriend before?" she ask me.

I felt sad.

She doesn't know if she really loves me that time?

She gave me her whole heart even though she's not sure if she loves me.

"EJ!!!"

She suddenly shouted and it makes me stop.

Then, I got startled when a fast motorbike passed by in front of me.

I lost my balance and we fall on the ground.

I didn't notice that I was about to cross.
