Dear Jeongmin,
     Today was peculiar. I drove up to see my family and had my phone turned off for the majority of my time with them, and found several surprises upon turning it back on. Donghyun had gone out of town with a few of his friends and apparently you and some of your friends had gone to the same place. I had several texts from you asking if I was there too and texts from Donghyun detailing his interaction with you. 

      Apparently, he hadn’t recognized you when you approached him and was initially wary, until he realized who you were and enjoyed the amusement of knowing he’d have a story for me. He claims that you had asked him if I was there also and you seemed disappointed upon discovering that I was not. I’m sure he exaggerated your disappointment, as is in his nature, but it made me hopeful. How much of an exaggeration was it this time? Did you actually want to see me? Our last plans to meet up fell through and I had assumed we were being courteous in allowing ourselves to drift away from each other until there was no longer a metaphorical bridge in sight. 

     I hope this means that we aren’t over.
