If there was one thing Min Yoongi prides himself on, it was on his ability to act like he doesn’t give a about anything and absolutely everything in the world. Everyone believed that he’s a guy who has a heart of stone that was also probably coated in ice where even when he stayed under the sun for too long whenever he played basketball, it still won’t be able to melt.Yoongi just let things happens on its own way and its own phase because as he reminded himself, people can’t always get what they want and can’t always have the future they want to happen.

Yet lately he has started to doubt that saying and regretted ever making it up himself. It was when the time has come when waking up and going to school became a real test of his self control-slash-acting skills because of something that has been bothering him lately but he doesn’t want anyone to know. It was all because of a certain boy who is not just the guy who lives next door but also the guy who was in the same class as him. Park Jimin, who has always stuck to him like glue before but now ignores him as if he doesn’t exist. Yoongi sometimes felt like as if he was just a mere ornament of their classroom, the wall clock, their teachers vase or maybe even one of the chairs that of course no one would dare to sit at unless they want to face his wrath.

Honestly, Yoongi doesn’t really care being ignored by anyone, but in Jimin’s case, well he is just pretending not to care. And by pretending that means he can’t easily ask him about it because that’s just not like a Min Yoongi.

“I noticed you and Jimin were not talking lately. Did something happened?”

Yoongi just shrugged instantly. Namjoon, their school council’s president and one of the few person Yoongi doesn’t find annoying sat with him at lunch again today. Yoongi’s usual seat buddy, the guy who Namjoon just said the name earlier, has pulled one of the kid who has always bothered Yoongi at lunch time only because thankfully they were not in the same class. That kid who is Jimin’s cousin, Taehyung still waved at him even so, with that box smile on his face as usual.

“That’s what you get for pushing away people” Yoongi heard Namjoon speaked again and the guy even clicked his tongue “Maybe he grew tired of you Hyung because of you being grumpy everyday.”

Yoongi almost choked on the food he has been chewing and he forced himself not to turn and look at Namjoon who was from the corner of his eyes he can see was staring at him. But great, now the guy knows he was looking at Jimin’s direction. So of course his quick and genius mind needs to improvise.

“Namjoon, do you remember the CD you said you wanted to buy?”He in his cheeks at what he blurted out “I already bought that from the store…the other day.”

And just like as he expected, his overly stressed school council president friend took that bait instantly. The CD was really what Namjoons hip hop side really craved for but he has always lacks in money. Later that lunch they started talking on how Yoongi will give him the cd tomorrow creating a perfect distraction for Yoongi not to look at Jimin’s table again but at the same time Yoongi knows he will have to find out how to really produce money to actually buy that cd before he gets home today.

Yet still the only thought that has lingered on his mind throughout the whole school day was what Namjoon has said. Is Jimin really avoiding him because he’s had enough of him? He asked himself instead as he won’t really ask Jimin about it directly or anyone in that matter. But right now he badly needs to find a way to know the answer.
