 If you all can recall the events on Chaeyoung’s death, that person who was actually hugging her and even kissed her cheek was actually Nayeon. You all know Nayeon in this story right? Nayeon was probably just lurking around and noticed Chaeyoung. She tried flirting with her but Chaeyoung didn’t like it. She was about to leave when Nayeon came into her way and hugged her without consent and even dared to kiss her cheek.

On chapter 7, if you all can still recall Mina and Nayeon’s conversation, they said:

“You didn’t even let her explain. That person could even be a stranger she just met and was just probably trying to flirt with her.” Nayeon stated as if I was so stupid for not letting Chaeyoung defend herself.
