I dropped the suddenly cheery boy off at his apartment building. “Noona, will you be coming back this way?” Taehyung asked leaning into the window. I looked up at the boy and internally questioned myself. “Maybe, if you need me to.” I say smiling weakly still thinking about what I heard at the station. Tae nodded and returned the smile. “I’ll call you.” He said a flirty tone in his voice as he pushed off the car. “Cool.” I say before driving off. I watched Taehyung from my rearview mirror as he waved me off excitedly. I called into work, well actually just my mom, and told her that I wasn’t feeling well again. She yelled at me about how I should’ve just stayed home in the first place. I rolled my eyes and suddenly flicker of light flashed behind me.
