“It only really feels like I’m back home when you greet me,” Jackson comments. “You’re the best at welcoming people.”

Mark smiles as his heart stirs. Sometimes he wonders if Jackson feels the same way. There are days he thinks so, then there are others when he is sure that’s not the case and he’s reading too much into it. But he never dwells on that too much, because why even trying? It’s too complex. Too painful.

I started this with a one shot in mind, but it seems it needs more build up how from friends they become lovers. And I just wanted to write more Markson because feels and I can.

Chapter 7: Im touched by the way you right the story. Loving behind the scene... I Can relate too but more importantly I love the way they dont try to move on and hurt each other. Just subtle skinship and dodging bullets not until the drunken scene that got me. Bang bang kyaaaah Im dead.?,

Chapter 7: Rather than AUs I tend to like fanfics that are aching more towards the real world more and this story in particular feels so real.

Ending every chapter in a similar way, like "Mark's talent is loving Jackson, which is a great talent although it stays behind the scenes." makes it even more impactful and constantly reminds me of the title, which is also eye catching when scrolling through the various Markson fanfics on this site.

Sorry for writing too much and thank you for this beautiful story. Never stop writing, please. ?
