Jisoo calmly sipped her tea as she watched her best friend check her cellphone for what seemed to be the zillionth time. If electronic devices had souls, Mijoo's phone definitely would have grown sick of her repetitive, borderline-obsessive (if it hadn't gotten past that point yet, which it probably had by now) behavior and would've eventually rebelled by malfunctioning or simply exploding into flames on the spot. Jisoo felt sorry the poor thing, regardless of whether or not it actually possessed a soul. She sighed inaudibly when the other girl picked up her phone just after putting it down for about half of a second. "Give it a rest, Mijoo. I'm sure she's doing perfectly fine."

"I know...it's just..." Mijoo ruffled her long, dark hair in frustration. "She still hasn't replied to any of my text messages or calls yet."

"She's probably really busy right now." When her friend didn't appear consoled by this in the slightest, Jisoo continued, "Look, she's in good hands, okay? They're going to take care of her, I promise. If that's not enough reassurance, Manager unnie is there with her too. You've been fussing over her ever since she left. Relax. You're worrying over nothing."

"You're right, Jisoo. I know you are. I don't even know why I'm acting like this..." Mijoo brought one of the sofa cushions up to her face, groaning into it thereafter. "You have no idea. It's driving me crazy."

Jisoo smiled knowingly at her groaning groupmate. "I think it's pretty obvious why you feel this way... It's because you miss Yein." She snorted as a flustered Mijoo threw the sofa cushion aside in response to her statement, along with the phone she'd been holding onto for a while.

"W-W-What even...? That's weird! Don't say strange things like that! As if I'd be missing that brat... She hasn't even been gone for half the day yet!" Contrary to her denial, the pink glow coloring Mijoo's cheeks appeared to demonstrate that Jisoo had otherwise pinpointed the cause of her distress. "Why would I...miss her..." Mijoo's voice trailed off as she seemed to realize that her fellow 94-liner was unfortunately correct. Jisoo extended a hand to give her friend a few comforting pats on the back. "How is this even possible..."

Suddenly, Mijoo's phone began to ring, and Jisoo instantly withdrew from the other girl as the owner
