In the middle of the night Baekhyun was in deep sleep when he heard a familiar roar from outside his window waking him up from his slumber. Despite him being a rather mature 16 year old, he was still afraid of the thunder but not to the point he'd start crying and shaking in fear, rather he'd wouldn't like to stay alone in his room so he drag himself out of bed while still holding his blanket. His free hand never break contact with the walls of his room as he find his way out of his room. When he reached his door he turned to the right and towards the end of the hall at which Chanyeol's room is located. While making his way towards the younger's room, he head loud footsteps getting closer to him

"Baekkie hyung~" upon hearing Chanyeol's voice Baekhyun reaches out his hand to where he heard his voice coming from, his hand was then held securely in the large hands of his younger brother.

Knowing for sure his older brother must be scared, Chanyeol guided Baekhyun into his room. 

"I'll sleep with you hyung" Chanyeol told Baekhyun with a smile even though he knew that the smaller was unable to see him smiling. Baekhyun simply nodded and walked towards his own room with the help of his younger brother while staring into nothing but darkness.

Baekhyun carefully climbed on his bed and start to fidget into a more comfortable position, after Baekhyun had found his comfortable position, Chanyeol went to lay down beside the smaller figure before hugging Baekhyun's tiny waist. Baekhyun could feel Chanyeol's warm breath brushing across his neck, he was aware of the small gap between then which was as small as the thickness of a piece of paper. Remembering all the sweet things Chanyeol had done for him, Baekhyun felt chest had unusual beating.. His normal heart beat was almost unnoticable but this.. The beating in his chest was the only thing he could feel at the moment.. Baekhyun not knowing what was wrong with him, he decided to push it off his mind and think of it as a simple muscle cramp around his chest because one time when Baekhyun felt like his heart was beating all around his body, Chanyeol would always say it was muscle cramps and end of topic. 

Not thinking much of the beating in his chest he slowly fell asleep while being engulf in warmth.

Chanyeol was in a hurry to go to the library while carrying his heavy books. His teacher had ended class later than usual, which drove Chanyeol crazy as he started to think about what Baekhyun would do.
