According to the papers Baekhyun non-biological parents were given by the orphanage, Baekhyun's birthday is the day after tomorrow; May 6th. That's right, today is May 5th and Chanyeol wanted to celebrate his birthday with something special.

It was early in the morning before Baekhyun was even awoken from his sleep, Chanyeol was already wide awake and downstairs throwing words after words at his mom who was preparing breakfast

"Umma! Tomorrow is Baekkie hyung's birthday! I want buy him something~"

"What do you want to buy him?" she asked

Chanyeol thought for a moment before cheering "a phone! It'll be really useful" his smile grew wide as he waited for his mom's response and Chanyeol being spoilt by his parents got an expected "Ok" from his mom

"Yay!" Chanyeol cheered. His mom place a freshly made pancake onto a plate which was immediately taken away by tall 15 year old, before she was able to call out for him, his long legs had already brought him to where he wanted to go; it was none other than Baekhyun's room.

Baekhyun was sleeping soundly under the thick warm blanket. His hand were on the edge of the blanket as he slept like a cute innocent bunny, soft snores to be heard in the room.

Chanyeol was about to barge into the room while yelling out his brother's name cheerfully like how he always did but stopped as soon as he saw how comfortable and adorable he looked at the moment. No words left his mouth as he stare at the smaller figure with a smile, he didn't want to awaken Baekhyun when he looked like this, it would make him feel terrible. He place the plate of pancakes on his nightstand before climbing on Baekhyun's bed laying on his belly as he watch his brother sleeping so comfortable as if he was in his own world and there wasn't a single sign of interruption that is until Chanyeol not knowingly raised his hand with his index finger sticking out bringing it closer towards Baekhyun's chubby cheeks that was currently being squashed as the weight of his head force it down on to the pillow. As soon as the tip of Chanyeol's finger made contact with Baekhyun baby skin cheeks, the latter stir from his sleep while letting out a soft puppy noises before falling back to sleep. 

Chanyeol didn't know how long he had been watching the smaller sleep but he knew it was long enough that his dad was already ready to head off to work while Chanyeol was still watching his brother sleep. 

After a short while, the smaller's eyes started to twitch as he open his eyes. Staring into Baekhyun's eyes as it blink a couple of times he just noticed Baekhyun's white pupils which was staring straight a head

Baekhyun sat up slowly turning his head to his right slightly while his eyes still glued to the wall ahead of him.

"Chan..?" he called as if he could see the taller figure in front of him

"How did you know I was here?" Chanyeol tilt his hear in confusion

"I can smell" Baekhyun's cheeks turned slightly red hoping he didn't sound like a creep.

"Ah I see" Chanyeol smiled before sitting up then grabbing the plate of pancake and place it on Baekhyun's lap which was covered by the blanket "here eat~"

Baekhyun sniff for a while before touching the content with his slender fingers before questioning "Pancakes?"

"That's right!" he clapped his hand and cheered happily before taking one pancake and munching on it while Baekhyun slowly took a pancake taking tiny bites off of it while Chanyeol was murdering his breakfast.

"Chan.. What date is it today?" Baekhyun asked

"Today? Um.. May 5th? Why? Do you have plans?" Chanyeol asked but recieved no words from Baekhyun but simply shook his head. Chanyeol checked his watch and saw that they had 30 minutes before school starts, that's when he heard their mom calling them from downstairs

"Baekkie hyung get changed or we're going to be late for school" Chanyeol went to Baekhyun's closet and pull out Baekhyun's uniform followed then handed them to Baekhyun who was still making his way towards the edge of the bed before heading out to his own room to get changed. Not long after he went out of his room to see Baekhyun cautiously walking down the stairs, he check his watched again and saw that it was already getting late so without thinking twice he carried Baekhyun on his back and ran down the stairs surprising Baekhyun by his sudden action

"Chan.." before Bakhyun could say anything more Chanyeol spoke up "We're going to be late Baekhyun". As soon as he placed the smaller figure down onto the smooth ceramic tile before wrapping his hand around Baekhyun's smaller one pulling him while carrying both of their bags and rushing to school.

They arrive school just in time before thhe school gate closes, Chanyeol heaved a deep sigh of relief before heading to the locker room to pic up all essencial. 

Chanyeol led Baekhyun towards his first class which was Math then reluctantly head towards his own class

The school bell rang indicating that it was time for lunch, heading for Baekhyun's class to pick him up when a familiar voice called out to him 

"Chanyeol oppa!" 

He turned to see Haejin running through the crowd while waving at him with a bright smile

"Oh, Haejin-ah do you need something?"

"Ah.. oppa I wanted to ask if you are free this afternoon, I thought maybe we could.." before she could complete her sentence Chanyeol told her

"Tomorrow is Baekkie hyung's birthday, I haven't got a present from him yet" 

"Oh! Then we can go together! What do you plan on getting him?" She asked 

"I want to buy him something useful" he told simply
