The Moon was up as she showed her full round face behind the darkness of the night.The air was warm with a little breeze to cool the warmth and the humid of the night.The trees sway, as the leaves ruffled...Selina and Jiro finally stepped out of the limo as they looked at their audittorium now converted to a beautiful dance hall.Their were ballons,flowers and lots of decorations.There a professional photographer by the entrance,taking pictures of each attendee with their partners....

And as they entered the hallway,each one of them are being introduced....as applaused and laughter ensues...after each name was read...Some of the parents are scattered around,which acts as chaperoned for the night...There was a band playing as some of the students are already dancing with their partners.

Jiro and Selina looked around for their classmates,for some familiar faces...Selina spotted Tiffany with Ethan.She looked just lovely,with her sleeveless gown in turqoise blue.her hair is up to.She just looked so elegant and classy,with her fair complexion and her heights...She noticed that Jiro was staring at her...Ethan was equally handsome in his black tuxedo and white shirt and bow tie.They looked like a lovely couple,equally matched with their looks.

And then they looked at the next couple who are just making the grand entrance...and it is Rainie and Mike.If jiro stared at Tiffany,he took a deep sigh when he saw Rainie.Wearing a velvet read gown,she is sure the belle of the ball.The woman of the night.She looked stunning and yes simply beautiful.Even Selina took a deep sigh,if they are all looking this good,then how can she compete with them in Jiro's heart.Suddenly whatever self confidence that she got earlier seems to be dwindling down....Mike is just gorgeous,of the most charming man she has ever seen.No wonder that Rainie is all eyes at him...Jiro might have a crush on Rainie but she was not the competition here but Tiffany...for Jiro told her that she is his dream girl and everything that he wanted in a girl,and she is free,unlike Rainie who is not...

Jiro notice that Selina has been staring at Ethan first and now at Mike...he always knew that Selina harbors a crush on Ethan,and now the way she stared at him,she wondered if she was wishing that she is with him now instead of him...he felt jealous as Selina keep on staring at the Ethan and now Mike...Well he should just have stayed home than coming over here,he told himself...

And then the music started playing....

Selina felt Jiro's hand on her,as she looked up at him.Jiro smiled at her and took her to the dancefloor as they danced to the music.She can feel her heartbeat becoming stronger and faster.How come tonight,she is the one that is nervous,and jiro seems to be so confident as he stared and smiled at her...Is it the song that mesmerized him or is it something else....

"You really looked beautiful tonight Selina.I never knew that my bestfriend is now all grown up now and yes all woman ." Jiro said.

"You are not just teasing me by chance,are you?" Selina asked.She tried looking back at his eyes,but she felt,so conscious and afraid,that he will see through her ,whatever she felt for him.as she looked out,anywhere except in his eyes...

"How come when I say the truth,you don't believe me? You really looked lovely tonight..." Jiro said.

"Thank you if you mean well.You are not bad yourself.You really good tonight.You are not hopeless after all." as Selina smiled.

"Is that the best you can come up for your best friend? Well I am not Ethan what can I say?" Jiro said.

Selina frown,and wondered what could he mean by his remarks.Is he jealous ,of her petty crush on Ethan or jealous because Ethan got Tiffany in her arms?" Jealous are you?" Selina asked.

"Very,especially if the girl in my arms is looking at him right now." Jiro said.Selina did not notice that at the direction that she was looking at,is where Etna and tiffany stood together.

"I am not looking at him at all.I didn't even knew that he is standing there." Selina said."You are just jealous because he got Tiffany with him,and you are making me as an excuse." as she pouts....

Jiro did not say anything.Better for her to think that way ,than the other way around and better than for her to know the truth.If she only knew that she is the one he wants more than anything else in this whole wide world...he smiled at his own crazy thoughts...as the music ended and he has to let her go.Somehow,he just wants Selina right in his arms where she truly belongs...and wished that the music never ended....

Jiro found his way in the crowds as he went to the table to get a drink for Selina and him.He found Rainie near the punch ball all alone by herself.he wondered where can Mike be? He smiled at her.They may not be best friends like Selina but they are past hello and goodbye phase,they are more of acquaintance and less of a friend.She smiled at him,as he got near.

"Hello,you looked good tonight,Dadong." Rainie said.

"You look good yourself too.it looks like you are gonna be the belle of the night." Jiro said.

Rainie just smiled.The music went on...."Would you care to dance with me?I really like this music and Mike is nowhere to be found." as she looked at him.Jiro swallowed hard...what if Selina sees them ? What could she be thinking???But he can't turn her down now...as he took her hand to the dancefloor.

They danced and turned and  twirled with the music...and as Selina eyes found them...Something hit her hard that night.She was upset,angry and yes very jealous.he was gone and the next thing she knew ,he is already dancing with Rainie.Somehow,she felt like crying.She was expecting a beautiful night with him and it seems like is nowhere in being beautiful and perfect after all.She was so disappointed.She can't stay and watch this as she walked away from the dance floor and walk out of the hall.

Jiro has been looking for Selina after the dance and he could not seem to find her inside the hall.Where can she be,he thought.He was getting upset,for he has been looking everywhere for the past half hour and he seems to vanished in thin air.Did she leave without telling him? Is she mad because he dance with Rainie and felt that he neglected her? But he can't say no to Rainie or to any girl for that matter....He went out of the dance hall....and soon enough...Selina was there all alone.
