MinSeok’s POV

My relationship with SoEun is steady,also with my members as we are busy with our own schedules after our comeback and concerts. JongDae and I talked and fixed our misunderstanding and everything is smooth sailing with the team that’s why we decided to throw JongDae a birthday party and I knew they invited Jin too since JongDae and her celebrate their birthday with us every year and I don’t want to be the reason for cancelling it and made them think that I’m not mature enough to handle the situation. As I said the moment she ended our friendship I ended it too. I just granted her request and besides I guess she was happy with her life

We rented a private room in one of the expensive bars in Apgujeong, The whole EXO was there and TaeYeon-ssi. It’s just us. They want it private since Jin will be here too and inviting others may cause her discomfort

Everyone was having a good time, TaeYeon and BaekHyun have their own world while JongIn was texting, While SeHun and SuHo was talking to someone on the phone, ChanYeol,KyungSoo and Lay was playing one of ChanYeol’s childish game. JongDae was just chilling as he rested his back on the couch looking at his phone from time to time while I was drinking watching my members, enough for me to do as the eldest of the group

I was circling the rim of my glass and random thoughts are running in my mind like how would she react when she sees me. She knew I was here since JongDae texted  and asked her where she was and the whole group is waiting for her which means I’m included and the only thing that she replied was she’s on her way which was 15 minutes ago

Then the door opens as you heard the loud music from the outside and immediately faded as the door closed

“Sorry, I’m late.” the familiar voice apologized as soon as she arrived

I wanted to turned around and looked at her but I was too coward to do that, she passed from as my nose smelled the familiar scent she always have

The woman standing in front of me is different, It gives her the aura of a confident woman

JongDae stood up and hugged her immediately and whispered a happy birthday to her which she answered happily and greeted the younger celebrant with light taps on his back and soon left her a kiss on the her cheek

The others and TaeYeon-ssi stop what they are doing and went to the woman and swarmed around her like zombies and each of them give her light hug and greetings of happy birthday which she likely thank with her ever sweet smile

Then they all settled down and she sat beside JongDae which make us sitting across from each other

She put her bag behind her as she crosses her legs elegantly like she is not the simple Jin I used to know

“Hyung, Are you not greeting Jin NooNa?” KyungSoo asked me disturbing my thoughts

“Ah, Sorry.” I said as I placed my glass down the table and stood up and reach to her

“Happy birthday Jin.” I greeted as I placed my hand at the small of her back

“Thank You.” She confidently said

And before I knew I gave her a kissed on her right cheek which she just reacted with a smile and like she was not affected with the sudden skinship

And I sat back down wit defeat thinking that she’s really not bother with my presence

SuHo handed her bottle and the real party had begun, As lights got dimmer and music got louder

My eyes are on her all the time, she was sitting sideways, showing her perfect legs and thighs that are not cover with her very short shorts, she also wearing an off shoulder 3/4 light blue blouse showing again her captivating shoulders, her make up change too from sweet to a more sophisticated one, and because of not seeing her for a long time, I didn’t noticed that her hair are much longer especially she curled the ends that flows flawlessly even when she move

Her change is not a bad one but a more alluring one; did she slowly or she did came out from her shell

My mind lose more control right now even the way she laugh and talk its different, different in a good way but if you are going to ask me if what do I like more? I still pick the naive Jin I knew

JongDae put his arm around and casually whispers something and they both laugh which made me annoyed somehow, I was calming myself longer than I expected

Then BaekHyun asked everyone to stand up and raised our drinks and invited all of us on the dance floor downstairs which I plainly rejected and just tell thenm that I will just watch

“Are you sure, you will just stay here?” Jin asked me all of a sudden, It caught me off guard when I once heard her sweet concern voice

“Yes. Just enjoy.” I hide my surprise state as I raised my glass to the air and nodded
