The next day I walk to school and go straight to my locker. 

Byul comes and puts her hand in my locker door (?)

"Hey." She said but not her usual hey. This one was less enthusiastic.

"Hey" I replied. Not looking at her.

"Where did you go yesterday? We didn't get to walk with each other." She said

"Oh...um... I was in a rush. My mom texted me to come home quickly" I lied

"Your not looking at me when you say that so that means something is up." She said.

She knows me too well. Which I don't understand at all because we haven't even been friends for a year.

I sighed. Then I finally faced her. 

I looked directly at her eyes.

"Look nothing is wrong. I'm serious Byul" I told her

"Ok. It's just that your not your usual self right now. You know if anything is bothering you just tell me." She said

I just gave her a assurance/warm smile.

"Well I guess I'll see you?" 

"Yeah see ya." I said and we both went our separate ways.

Once again the whole morning was a blur. Obviously being a good student, I listened but I was zoning out almost everytime. 

I was thinking of Byul. I think I made a mistake. I shouldn't have left her yesterday just because of my jealousy! And I shouldn't have acted like that towards her.
