Chapter 17
BrokenHana blinked as she stared at the dumbfounded expression on Hoseok's face before turning back to the shocked Sehun, Jongin and Kyungsoo with a dirty look on her face, "I was just talking with a few kids. Nothing much."
"Right." Namjoon shot her a skeptical look, which she responded with a glare, "Stop looking at me like a questioning old man and let me pay."
Hoseok burst out laughing as Namjoon sighed, "Yeah, okay."
Hana shot Sehun a sidewards glare as she passed him, holding her head high as he stared at her the same stupid way he was doing before, "Hurry up, Namjoon."
Namjoon huffed as he ran up to her, Hoseok dragging Yoongi excitedly, "How old are you? Wait, you're a few months younger than me, right?"
Hana raised her eyebrows as she stared him down, "Stalker. How did you know?"
"So you are?"
"Depends how old you are."
"I was born in September."
Jung Hana was extremely good at hiding her feelings, but Namjoon was even better at figuring her out. He caught onto the slight eye narrow and started to shout a little.
"You are younger, aren't you?!"
"Shut up, Namjoon."
"That's Namjoon oppa to you."
"HOLY ." Hoseok screamed when he heard 'oppa', "Are you gonna start calling me Hoseok oppa?! Hobi oppa? J-Hope oppa? Hoseokie oppa? That's got a nice ring to it-"
"I'm not calling you any of that, Hoseok-"
"Hoseok OPPA to you!" Hoseok laughed gleefully as Hana rolled her eyes and Namjoon sighed at Hoseok stealing his words.
"Shut up."
"Ah, where's the respect these days? These kids, tut tut- OW!"
Hana smirked as she removed her feet after stamping down hard, satisfied with the look of intense pain on Hoseok's face, "That was worth it."
"Why do you hate me so much?" Hoseok sniffed, bending down to rub his poor feet.
"I don't really know."
"That's not fair, you're completely comfortable with Yoongi hyung and Jungkookie, why do you hate me, Taehyung and Jimin?"
"You guys gonna hurry up or not?" Yoongi barked, as Hoseok immediately changed his face to a y one, eyebrows wiggling. "What was that interruption about, hyung?"
Yoongi rolled his eyes, fighting the urge to smack Hoseok right across the face. "There's seriously something wrong with you if you haven't noticed it's nearly 10."
"We've been out later."
"I thought you said your parents came early from their business trip? Expecting to see you there with them?"
Hoseok's eyes widened. "! They said they were going to have late dinner," he looked down at his watch, "2 hours ago..."
The panicking look on Hoseok's face made Yoongi smirk as he tapped on Hoseok's shoulder mockingly. "Better hurry up."
Hoseok almost immediately broke into a run, tripping over his feet, screaming something about telling the rest he had to go and that he was sorry. A few curses escaped his lips as well as he pushed in between two ahjummas who were muttering about the rudeness of the younger generation. Hoseok just happened to prove their point right.
Yoongi smiled lazily as he tucked his hands into his pockets and started to make his way to the checkouts.
He stopped when he stared at the scene in front of him. Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook had every single snack in the store, multiplied by 20, in their arms, looking very sheepish indeed as Jin whistled nonchalantly, hands in pocket, pretending to not know the three youngers.
"What do you mean you have no money?" Hana asked, a glare on her face
The voice was scarily low and calm and the maknaes were already peeing themselves from nervousness. "U-uh..."
"We thought Hoseok hyung was still here!"
Hana's face darkened as she started at them alarmingly. "Which kind of grown boys don't carry money with them?"
"Clearly them." Namjoon murmured, shaking his head and sighing as eveyone turned to him.
"So you mean you have money, hyung?"
Namjoon's eyes widened as he stuttered, "Uh, you know-"
"If so, please help a dongsaeng out and kindly let us borrow it."
He gulped and looked at the rest, who were looking at him, leaving the poor guy on the spot. He glanced at them one more time before slumping his shoulders, "I don't have any money either."
Hana rolled her eyes as Namjoon rubbed his arms uncomfortably, the rest just looking at the floor.
Suddenly, the store assistant called the boys, "Sir, is there a problem?"
Jin looked at him in shock, "Huh? What? I don't know them. I'm not with them, please don't associate me with them hooligans, haha."
Taehyung looked at store assistant, realising that they were in line, with a whole bunch of angry old people behind them. "U-uh..."
The store assistant raised an eyebrow, folding his arms, "Is everything okay? You're next in line."
Jimin looked down as he murmured, "Um... we kinda don't have any-"
"I'm paying."
The boys turned their heads in shock to Hana, who was trudging over to place her stuff down, taking her money out from the back pockets of her skinny jeans. "Put half of this unnecessary away and I'll pay."
"Thank you, noona! We totally owe you one, you're so nice to us! Really, what did we do to deserve you-"
"Just go."
