The next 4 weeks were full of smiles for HyeKyo, JoongKi often visited her, ate lunch with them and they sometimes go out after work. It was already like a daily routine for her to see JoongKi, she somehow felt light whenever she’s with him, as if he’s carrying all the burden for her, although she still felt the same pain every time she sees Hyun Bin, sometimes she would lay in bed and find herself thinking of JoongKi, but remembering her previous relationship makes her scared to let her feelings run free although everyday, JoongKi never failed to remind her and tell her ‘I’ll wait for you’. HyeKyo most of the time avoided visiting her sister, although she kept track on her progression through Dr. Song. Hyun Bin was there almost everyday and some of her sister’s friends even came which also became awkward for them knowing their history. 

Her sister was recovering well and was already for discharged the next day after a month of confinement. HyeKyo found out that Hyun Bin and her sister were already living together, although it hurt for her, she still felt relieved because she knows someone will be there for her sister. It wasn’t easy for her anger to subside, and seeing her sister makes her hurt more. Hye Kyo was outside her sister’s room as she waited for JoongKi to arrive. Hyun Bin arrived walking slowly towards her. He reached the door as HyeKyo looked up and saw Hyun Bin, she could smell the alcohol even from a distance. Hyun Bin stopped in front of her and she stepped out of the way.

“Yaaa~! you expect me to allow you to see my sister in this condition?!” she said as she stopped him from opening the door. Hyun Bin collapsed to the ground as she pushed him away. HyeKyo kneeled down in front of him as she tried helping him up. Hyun Bin grabbed her arm tightly and said

“HyeKyo~aa..if only you didn’t ignore for a long time, I wouldn’t have fallen for your sister! This is all your fault, you thought of nothing but yourself! You can’t blame me and your sister, you were the one who left both of us, I’m tired of seeing her cry  every night just because you stopped caring for her!” he continued grabbing her arm tightly as he said those words. 

“You’re hurting me! stop it!” she said as she tried to stand up and remove her arm from Hyun Bin’s grip. Hyun Bin stood up and pushed her to the wall

“She doesn’t even allow me to touch her! She said she can’t because you must forgive her first! You must compensate for this!” He said as he pushed her harder on the wall and started kissing her. HyeKyo tried her best to push him away as she started crying. Hyun Bin continued touching her and kissing her as he started tearing HyeKyo’s blouse. It was late at night, and her sister’s room was far from the nurses’ station for anyone to witness what was happening. HyeKyo continued resisting as Hyun Bin kissed her neck and his grip tightened on her shoulder. Hyun Bin was then stopped when JoongKi arrived and saw what was happening from afar, he immediately ran as fast as he could and pulled Hyun Bin and punched him in the face

“What the hell are you doing to her!” he shouted as anger rose within him, he looked at HyeKyo and removed his jacket to cover her. He then turned to Hyun Bin and grabbed him and pushed him to the wall

“Don’t you have any conscience?! Don’t make alcohol an excuse ! You’re dating her sister now ! you idiot! How dare you do this to her!!!” he shouted as he punched Hyun Bin for the second time. Hyun Bin just stood there lifeless as he didn’t make a move. JoongKi punched him for the 3rd, the 4th, and the 5th time, he was stopped by HyeKyo as he was about to plant his 6th punch

“You’ll kill him” she said as tears still fell on her face, JoongKi looked at her and let go of Hyun Bin. Hyun Bin fell to the ground as he realized what he just did. He kneeled before them as he cried
