HyeKyo looked down as she stood in front of an unconscious JoongKi, the horror she felt realizing that it was him a while ago returning, her hand started shaking and a tear fell from her eye, Nurse MinJi went to her side and wiped it away immediately. Dr Song who was standing across HyeKyo looked at him with concern in his eyes

“Are you sure you can do this?” he said, HyeKyo looked up to him as she tried to calm down, she then nodded as she stepped forward signaling the start of the operation

“Scalpel” she said as Nurse Ja Ae handed it to her

3 hours has passed and the operation was still ongoing. Nurse MinJi wiped away HyeKyo’s sweat as she sighed

“I don’t know where the bleeding is coming from but he’s still not improving” Dr. Song said, HyeKyo just nodded as she patiently looked for the source of bleeding

Just then the monitor started alarming

“His blood pressure is dropping, his HR is dropping too” said Nurse Ja Haeasd

HyeKyo glanced at the monitor as the feeling of worry started to rise

“He’s losing too much blood” Dr. Song said, HyeKyo ignored what he said and just continued looking for the source of bleeding

“Pump blood faster” she heard Dr. Song as he ordered the nurses around, as panic started rising to her she finally found the source of bleeding

“Clamp” she said, Nurse MinJi handed it to her as JoongKi’s condition started stabilizing, they all breathed a sigh of relief. They continued the operation for another 3 hours as they also finished up fixing JoongKi’s other injuries. 

After about 6 hours of the operation, they finally finished and JoongKi was brought to the ICU. HyeKyoasd breathed a sigh of exhaustion and sadness as she sat down outside the operating room, Dr. Song sat beside her patting her back

“You did well there” he said, HyeKyo then felt the sadness and worry overcome her as tears started to fall

“I..I..I won’t be okay unless he wakes up” she said as she looked at Dr. Song with glistening tears in his eyes

“JoongKi’s a tough guy” he said as a way to comfort her, HyeKyo just nodded as she started sobbing

“I want him to be okay” she said in between her crying, Dr. Song just continued to tap her back as they both sat there, HyeKyo pouring her heart out of worry and Dr. Song whispering a silent prayer to make everything okay.

After freshening up in her dorm, HyeKyo went to JoongKi’s room and sat there holding his hand, she tried hard not to cry as she brought his hands near her

“JoongKi-sshi, can you hear me?, Please wake up” she said as tears started falling

“Why would you risk your life like that?” she asked as she tightened her grip on JoongKi’s hand, she the remembered the many times he told her and made her feel how much he loves her and how he continuously tells her that he will wait for her, he will wait until she opens up her heart for him, no matter how long it takes. Tears continued falling as she whispered to his ear and said

“You must wake up…because it’s my turn to tell you and make you feel, that I love you” she then continued sitting there beside him, holding on to his hand as if it was her life that was on the line.

The next morning, HyeKyo was awakened by Nurse JaHae 

“Dr. HyeKyo” HyeKyo then blinked and looked at her, stretching her back in the process, she fell asleep holding on to JoongKi’s hand while sitting
