Chapter 3- Fate

4:00 pm, Dr. Hye Kyo finally went out from surgery  after roughly 7 hours. She felt more exhausted than the usual maybe because of too much drinking last night. All the adrenaline that came to her during the operation wore off and now she felt a headache. She went to the dorm of the hospital and looked for her phone. She shuffled her bag trying to remember if she really put her phone inside. Then she suddenly realized that she must’ve left it on Joong Ki’s car when she went out in a hurry.

‘Aigoo~! I’m such an idiot, How would I even get it back now’ She thought

*KNOCK KNOCK

She went to the door and saw that the front desk nurse was there with her phone and a not in hand

“Dr. Hye Kyo, someone left this for you earlier, I just thought you might need your phone so I personally came here to give this to you” 

“Thank you very much” she replied, as she took her phone and the note and closed the door. She opened the note that says

“Dr. Hye Kyo you accidentally left this in my car, I hope the surgery went well. Remember not to drink alone next time and to find a man more handsome than me, although that would be hard for you ! and keep the hoodie, you look pretty in it-Joong Ki”

Hye Kyo smiled as she read the note

‘Aigoo~! I’ve only known him for a day but he’s already so confident of himself’ she thought as she felt her heart skip a beat. She took her phone and opened it, it had 20 missed calls from Chi Hoon maybe from earlier

‘Why do I feel like I want to meet him again, I wish I knew his number…..no no why are you like this Hye Kyo, you just met him for a day, you don’t even know him that well’ she thought as she frowned realizing she’s talking to herself. She took a shower and settled down on her bed. 

‘I wonder what he’s doing now’ she thought

Joong Ki was lying on his bed at his house as he was browsing his phone. He was looking at the news when he saw an international article about a man going on trial because of , he then remembered Hye Kyo

‘I wonder if our paths will ever cross again, I wonder if the surgery went well’ he thought as he recalled the events the previous night and during the day. He then smiled to himself as he realized that he can’t stop thinking about the Dr.

‘I should’ve gotten her number, I wonder what she’s doing now’
