"Sorry Mr Choi! Those new interns switched both your mails with Mr Lee's by mistake! He exclaimed before he caught himself.

I waved at my nervous PA to assure him that everything was fine. Relieved, he excused him and walked towards the door to leave my office.  Halfway out of the door, he stopped in his track and spoke without turning around.

"It was beautiful"

He paused before continuing. I cocked my eyebrows in askance.

"The memorial service was beautiful...." His voice trailed off. 

"I know." I replied with a sad smile. 

I was a late night radio DJ in Seoul and he was my partner in crime. We both hosted a popular radio show called 'Are you afraid of the dark?' for the past 5 years. Ratings were at an all-time high when tragedy struck a week ago.  With that said, Daesung left my office, closing the door behind him.  

I started going through my week old pile of mails.  The usual letters from adoring fans. A few marriage proposals. With accompanying photos to sweeten the deal.
