As I stood on the front porch of the Kwons residence, I straightened myself out before I rang the doorbell.  Footsteps could be heard shuffling busily inside as I waited.  But my wait wasn't long before the heavy mahogany door opened. 

"Oh hey Seungri!  Thanks for coming over on such short notice!" A grateful Mrs Kwon greeted me at the door and invited me in.

I usually came over to babysit the Kwons' 7 years old son, Kwon Jiyong in the evening, whenever the handsome pair of husband and wife needed a romantic date night.

However this time round, they requested me to babysit Jiyong during the day while they visit a sick friend in the city general hospital. 

"It's fine Mrs Kwon.  I'm on term break anyway." I equipped

"The hospital that we are visiting and all our emergency contact details are on the fridge as usual." Mr Kwon chimed in from the hallway as he busied with grabbing his coat and car keys.

I nodded in understanding and looked around for the little one. 

"He's upstairs and will be down in a minute" Mrs Kwon said as she came out of the kitchen, carrying a tray of snacks and a cold lemonade for me.

Soon, the Kwons were backing out of their driveway and drove off in a hurry as I waved them off.  I closed the main door and locked it before I set the alarm.  What can I say? I'm a creature of habit.
