It was Sunday morning in Jeonju and Jiyeon already busied herself with clothes, books, and things she would bring to Seoul. She decided to move a month earlier before her college started since Mr. Lee had asked her to come to YG’s building quite often now. Mr. Lee said that she would work with 2NE1 for their newest comeback.

“Jiyeon-ah, have you packed your diary books? You know you can’t leave them here, right?” Hayoen asked her. Jiyeon just giggled looking at her best friend. She was the one who moved, but it seemed like Hayoen was the one who was busy with the packing things. Yes, right. Her diary books were one of her most important things because all of her feelings which she translated into songs were there.  

“Of course, I’ve packed them.” Jiyeon said after putting her last sweater into the bags she would bring.

“What else you haven’t been packed?” Hayoen thought deeply while wandering around their room. Jiyeon just shook her head. She needed to calm her best friend down.

“Hayoen-ah, relax a bit. I’ve packed everything and I’m sure there’s nothing left, okay?” Jiyeon faced her. Hayoen just nodded her head in response. She had nothing to say anymore. Jiyeon knew Hayoen was dread because of her leaving. They were close like sisters, certainly Hayoen felt anxious about her leaving.

Hayoen then lied on her bed sighing deeply, she would be alone in this room now. Jiyeon followed her and sat beside her. She patted her shoulders in term to assure her that nothing’s bad going to happen. Looking through the window, Jiyeon could see the sea clearly like she used to do. She smiled bitterly knowing she couldn’t see it often from tomorrow on. She was definitely going to miss this place. However, she knew leaving this place would be the best.

“You know I’m gonna miss you.” Hayoen stated suddenly breaking the icy silence between them.

“I knew it.” Jiyeon said as if she knew what her best friend currently thinking.

“I’m not kidding, Ji~” Jiyeon sighed as she heard her best friend serious tone. Well, surely she couldn’t lift Hayoen’s mood. She had been like this since Jiyeon told her that she would move a month earlier.

“Oh come on, Hay, we could still talk on the phone, you could pay me a visit when you’re on holiday and vice versa. It’s not like we’re not going to meet anymore.” Jiyeon gave up trying to sound calm. She was a bit furious now since Hayoen kept being moody.

“Yeah, adding your job in YG to your schedule, I’m not sure we could still talk regularly.” Hayoen sniffed and turned to sit beside her.

“Hey, I’m only working for 2NE1 though, not like I will work for another singer.” Jiyeon reasoned out.

“Fine. Just don’t ignore me when you get famous later.” Jiyeon laughed out loud now. Her best friend was really talking non sense.

“Hayoen, listen. I’m going to be a doctor, okay? Well, except you wish that I would become a famous doctor, then I agree. But, a famous songwriter? It’s even a secret that I work for YG. So, don’t exaggerate things, okay?” Jiyeon explained.

“Fine, fine, leave it. Anyway, when do you leave?” Hayoen diverted the conversation.

“Tomorrow, 9 am. Why?” Jiyeon got to her feet when she saw her mother’s necklace wasn’t packed yet. She put it in her handbag, but it was slipped.

“Nothing. Just want to know.”

“When do your college start?” Jiyeon inquired.

“The same as yours.” Hayoen answered.

“Great. So, both of us will be busy later.” Hayoen just shrugged her shoulders as the sign of agree. They left the conversations behind as Mrs. Kim called them out for lunch.

It was a sunny morning and Jiyeon was already busy picking flowers in the garden. She wanted to change the flowers in their house. Speaking of ‘their’, Jiyeon kept referring things between her and Jiyong as ‘their’. Well, they did sharing things now including house, so Jiyeon didn’t mind referring it as ‘their’. She went early to the garden before Jiyong woke up. They hadn’t been talked since ‘that’ accident. It had been a week though. The situation were awkward, but neither of them intended to talk first. Jiyeon thought maybe he needed sometimes to think.

Jiyong was awake already. He already thought about saying sorry to Jiyeon, but she was nowhere to be found in the house. He then looked through the glass window and saw a girl was busy picking flowers. He smiled knowing it was her. Seeing at her right now, really made Jiyong thought that she was an angel. He observed her for a while. Jiyong was still curious about her name. She never told him about it. She always said it still wasn’t the right time to tell him. After a couple minutes looking, he saw her walked home happily. Jiyong was ready to open the door, but Jiyeon bet him to do it.

“Oh, good morning, oppa.” She smiled happily.

“Good morning, Hwang-ssi.” Jiyong still felt awkward around her. However, Jiyeon seemed fine with it. Jiyong followed her to the kitchen and pulled out a chair.

“What is it?” Jiyong pointed the flowers.

“Oh, these one? It’s peony flowers.” Jiyeon stated without looking at Jiyong. She was busy arranging the flowers like no one around her. She didn’t mean to ignore him, but Jiyong thought otherwise. He felt sorry to her and he could sense she was staying away from him.

“Hwang-ssi.” Jiyong called out her surname.

“Yes, oppa.” Jiyeon finally looked at him confusedly. She didn’t know that Jiyong was still felt so sorry to her. Though, Jiyeon knew he wanted to talk about something to her.

“I want to say sorry about that thing, you know. I knew I shouldn’t-”

“Don’t!” Jiyeon cut him off and turned her attention to the flowers again.

“What?” Jiyong trailed off when she talked again.

“Don’t say sorry about it. You’re not wrong, oppa.” Jiyeon said then smiled looking at her flowers artwork. She put it in the living room.

“But, I have to. I knew you felt like I didn’t trust you and you’re angry about it.” Jiyong said following her to the living room.

“I’m not mad at you, oppa. I forgot it already and you have to do the same. Just think of it like it never happened.” Jiyeon said looking at Jiyong intensely. He sighed knowing that she didn’t want to talk about it anymore.

“Fine. But, can you do me a favour?” Jiyong pulled another trick to ask for her forgiveness.

“Oppa, I don’t feel like doing anything.” Jiyeon said tiredly. Moreover, Jiyong could sense a glint of upset in her voice.

“Unless you feel hungry, then ask me. I’m in my room.” Jiyeon said and walked upstairs. Jiyong sighed deeply. She was truly upset at him.

Jiyong was in his room. He was thinking about those four guys he had seen weeks ago. Last night, he dreamt of them again. But, this one was different. He saw people were screaming at them. He was confused. Why would they scream at him, or more. Why would they scream at them? He also saw people danced behind them. He thought he stood at something like stage.

“What? So, I’m a singer? Or a dancer?” Jiyong asked himself confusedly.

‘Why couldn’t I remember it? I knew it was an important part of my life’ Jiyong thought helplessly. He intended to ask Jiyeon, but he knew she was still mad at him. Ugh, he shouldn’t doubt her at the first place. He thought about another thing to do for asking her forgiveness.

“Well, she won’t refuse if I just want a friend to talk to, right?” Jiyong leapt out of his bed and made his way upstairs. Outside the room, he could hear someone was singing.
