Prologue
You Are My LifePROLOGUE
“...and that’s the sixth one.” the boy muttered as he stepped on his yet
another finished cigarette. He felt discontented when he saw the cloud
of smoke he produced just seconds ago started to dissipate into thin air.
Feeling his jean’s back pockets for another stick, he immediately
grunted in frustration when he realized that he already run out of it.
“Already? I only had 6!” he muttered in frustration then leaned his
tensed and troubled shoulders on the metal railings of the bridge.
He looked down and even felt more turmoiled inside as he saw
how the river just kept on flowing calmly as if no problem existed
in its own world.
“Ha~ It’d be an honor to be a part of you.”
Looking up in the sky, the stars are nowhere in sight. Dark clouds
dominated the heavens, even the crescent moon’s light hardly
penetrated the thick darkness.
