"I mean, do I look like the marrying type?" Ahri threw her hands up in the air as she paced the length of the room.

"Honestly?" Minah raised an eyebrow. "Yeah."

"Okay, but not the type to marry a complete stranger just because my parents said so." She rolled her eyes and flopped onto the couch next to Minah.

"Don't they know you have Jin?" Minah asked, looking over at her friend. "I mean, you two have been pretty serious since high school."

"My dad says he owes this guy a huge favor, so he couldn't say no." Ahri rolled her eyes at how ridiculous the whole situation was. It sounded straight out of an afternoon sitcom.

"What if I took your place?" Minah suggested after a few minutes of silence.

"Minah that's crazy. How could that possibly work?" Ahri sat up to look at her friend with bewilderment. That was even more insane than the idea of her getting married.

"He's never met you before, so he doesn't know what you look like. We could definitely pull this off!" Minah seemed more and more excited by her own plan as the wheels started turning in her head. "I mean, I'm single as hell with no crush or unrequited love. Who knows, maybe I'll fall in love with this guy. All I'm saying is it's worth a shot. We've done way crazier."

"Okay, but that doesn't even begin to touch on the subject of fooling our own friends and families," Ahri said.

"But hear me out..."
