Description

Reia never would have expected to meet the love of her life for the first time at her own engagement party. Betrothed to one and pining for another, Reia has a decision to make. Does she pick a loveless life with everything she could ever want and a husband every other woman wanted, or a life of unknown with a beautiful stranger? Does she pick stability or take a chance? With her heart saying one thing and her head saying another, Reia isn't sure any decision she makes will be the right one.

"You can't make me choose like this," Reia whispered.

"I have to." He shook his head solemnly. "I knew it was the only way to get you to make a decision."

Slowly, Reia reached out to him, letting her hand hover just above his outstretched one. One way or another, she would have to choose. She wished she could call her brother in that moment. He would have known what to say, would have known who to choose. He would have told her to go with her gut, that deep down she had already made the decision long ago. She already knew who she would choose. And now, she had to embrace what she had decided long before this moment on the air strip.

"I..."
