“Halmeoni, I came back!” Hakyeon shouted.

Hakyeon looked around at the restuarant that the halmeoni owned and found her at the kitchen cooking away. There were a few customers enjoying the food that were served and some children happily running around.

“Omo, you really did come.” the halmeoni said with surprised.

Hakyeon acted hurt, “I did promise you and you didn't trust me halmeoni? I'm hurt.”

“Aigo aigo, you act just like my grandson.” the halmeoni laughed at Hakyeon’s act of hurt and patted him on his shoulder, “Sit down young man and I'll cook you your food.”

“How about I help you halmeoni?”

“Can you cook?”

“Of course I can, do you not trust me?”

Halmeoni laughed and invited Hakyeon to the kitchen so he could help her cook.

To others, Hakyeon is not known as a good cook due to s out-call of him not able to and his so called “character”, the member and umma who cannot cook. All of those is just a lie but he had to keep up that image and so when he cooks, especially on camera, he must act like he cannot.

After cooking, both of them sat down across one another.

“So young man, what are you doing out here in this island? From the look of it, you look like you came a city.”

“Just came for a little getaway. The city life became too much for me halmeoni.”

“When I first saw you, you had that sadness in your eyes. It looks like you were running away from something.”
