“What do you mean you’re staying another week in Busan?!” Hoseok whined into the telephone receiver “I don’t care if you made a friend who isn’t coming here until next week Namjoon!”

Jimin raised an eyebrow as he watched Hoseok pace around Yoongi’s apartment.

“No! No, Namjoon!” Hoseok frowned “You don’t understand! Ever sense Yoongi got a boyfriend I’ve been third wheeling two couples! Two!”

“Our friend went to Busan for a few weeks.” Jin whispered to Jimin as Yoongi laughed at Hoseok’s pained expression “And he was supposed to come home this week, but…”

“But from what I’m picking up.” Yoongi cut in, still laughing slightly “He’s delaying his arrival.”

“Well screw you too then.” Hoseok sighed “Yeah, I’ll see you next week.”

“You ok there?” Jin chuckled as Hoseok flopped down on the floor with a pout

“Namjoonie isn’t coming home for another week.”

“Yeah we kinda gathered that.” Yoongi chuckled “He has a life too you know, let him be”

“Yeah well I’m lonely” Hoseok whined “As much as I love Jimin and Tae, I don’t like being the only single person here.”

“It’s ok Hobi” Jimin grinned sliding off the couch, sitting next to Hoseok “Tae and I love you too. You’re much more fun than our boyfriends”

“Hey!” the two oldest chorused as Taehyung walked back inside from also taking a phone call, and Hoseok laughed

“Why do those two look like you just insulted their entire existence?” he asked taking a seat next to Jin

“Because that’s basically what he did” Hoseok chuckled “While simultaneously complimenting me.”

“Nice” Taehyung grinned

“Don’t ‘nice’ him!” Jin frowned “He just insulted your boyfriend.”

“Yeah and he insulted his own.” Yoongi added

“What was that call about?” Jimin changed the subject “It was from Kookie right?”

“Oh yeah.” Taehyung nodded “He’s coming back next week.”

“Oh same as their friend.” Jimin grinned

“You guys have a friend who went on a trip too?” Taehyung asked

And for the rest of the night the five of them laughed and talk about their friends, whom they hoped to meet soon.

When Yoongi showed up to the airport with Jin and Hoseok the week after to pick Namjoon up, he really didn’t expect to run into Jimin and Taehyung at the terminal.

“Jimin?” Yoongi called watching as the younger male jumped

“Yoongi?” Jimin asked turning to completely face them “What are you doing here?”

“We’re here to pick our friend up” Yoongi answered “Is it safe to assume that you’re here for your friend?”

“That’s a safe assumption.” Jimin laughed

And apparently if Taehyung wasn’t paying attention before he was as soon as Jin walked over with a cup of coffee, Hoseok two steps behind.

“Jin!” He grinned running over immediately

“Tae?!” Jin blinked, grinning after a moment “What are you doing here?”

“I literally just had this conversation with Jimin” Yoongi sighed “Please don’t have it again.”

“Well the two of us weren’t here for it, so unless you want to explain” Hoseok cut in “Then they’re gonna have the same conversation.”

“We’re all here to pick up our friends.” Jimin answered, stuffing his hands into his pockets

“Weird coincidence.” Jin laughed snaking his free arm around Taehyung’s waist.

“You guys are being gross again” Hoseok complained as Taehyung wrapped both his arms around the eldest.  “At least Yoongi and Jimin are being… not gross.”

“We could be if you want.” Jimin teased taking a step closer to a smirking Yoongi.

“I don’t want” Hoseok scowled stepping between the two, making Yoongi laugh.

“So” Jin butted in changing the subject “Your friend is also coming from Busan?”

“Yeah” Taehyung nodded “He went to visit his family there.”

“I offered to go with him because I’m also from Busan” Jimin added “But I ended up getting that job at the gym so…”

“Well thank god for that” Yoongi grinned earning a raised eyebrow or two “What? I wouldn’t have met him if it weren’t for him not going to Busan.”

“Aw” Jimin and Hoseok cooed

“That’s disgustingly sweet” Taehyung grinned

“Sense when have you been so sappy?” Jin laughed and Yoongi just shrugged

“So why did your friend go to Busan?” Taehyung asked, tilting his head to the side

“Inspiration.” Hoseok answered “He works with Yoongi at the studio and he’s been in a slump.”

“I was gonna go with him, after all it concerns my work too.” Yoongi shrugged “But he needed to have a personal spiritual experience or some .”

“Well thank god you didn’t” Jimin grinned “I wouldn’t have met you if you went.”

“I can literally feel my teeth rotting.” Hoseok deadpanned making the rest laugh.

Jimin just laughed until the intercom said that the flight Namjoon and Jungkook were on had just landed.

“Oh by the way, fair warning.” Taehyung said quickly “When we see Jungkook, Jimin and I are probably gonna cling to him.”

“A lot.” Jimin added with a nod.

“How much is a lot?” Hoseok asked, less out of curiosity and more for his friend’s benefit

“An unreasonable amount” Taehyung shrugged finally letting go of Jin “At least that’s what we’ve been told”

“You’ve been told that the three of you cling to each other an unreasonable amount?” Yoongi raised an eyebrow

“No, no” Jimin chuckled, shaking his head slightly “Tae and I have been told we cling to him an unreasonable amount”

“By him” Taehyung added as the first few passengers of the plane started to exit

“He’s a very shy child” Jimin nodded, and all the other three could do was look at each other in confusion “And there he is!” Jimin suddenly cheered before he and Taehyung broke into a sprint

“And there they go” Hoseok chuckled as they watched Taehyung jump onto a slightly taller boy’s back

“On a different note” Jin chuckled turning away from the scene he just witnessed “Where’s Joonie?”

“Right behind you” and at that Jin half way jumped out of his skin

“Dude what the hell?” Jin frowned turning and punching Namjoon, who was currently laughing his off, in the shoulder. “Don’t sneak up on me like that”

“How the hell did a giant like him even sneak past us?” Yoongi chuckled

“Especially with that hair” Hoseok added “Dude when’d you change it to turquois?”

“While I was in Busan” Namjoon joked

“Obviously” Yoongi deadpanned

“I’ll miss the pink” Jin sighed

“You would” they rolled their eyes

“You guys aren’t any better” Namjoon pointed an accusing finger “What the happened while I was gone? Like this one’s blonde, and Yoongi has silver hair? And – and what are those?” he added running his hand through Hoseok hair “Highlights? Really Hoseok, highlights.”

“I guess we’ve all changed our hair” Yoongi shrugged

“And some of us changed more than just our hair” Namjoon grinned throwing his arm over Yoongi’s shoulder “What’s this I hear ‘bout you finally getting a boyfriend Syub?”

“Excuse me?” Yoongi scoffed “What’s ‘finally’ supposed to mean?”

“You’ve been trying to get one for a year” Hoseok pointed out with a roll of the eyes “I think he’s justified”

“Whatever” Yoongi sighed “Yeah I’ve got a boyfriend now he’s-”

“WHAT?!” Yoongi flinched at the loud voice interrupting him

The four of them turned seeing the boy Taehyung tackled earlier shaking Jimin by the shoulder’s, obviously wide eyes even wider as he loudly spewed nonsense. None of the three even caring that they’ve attracted the attention of basically the whole terminal, especially Taehyung who obviously found the whole thing hilarious.

“I s-said that- Jungkook stop shaking me” Jimin whined grabbing the boy’s wrist “Dude”

Jungkook huffed slowly letting his hands fall to his side, a small scowl painted across his (admittedly handsome) features.

“Ok thanks” Jimin laughed lightly “And I said I got a boyfriend”

“When? How?” Jungkook asked more calmly this time “Why?”

“Uh, a few months ago?” Jimin laughed “He helped me out of a fence and because I really like him”

“Why am I only hearing of this now?” Jungkook pouted folding his arms across his chest

“Well if you would answer me when I call you woulda known about him before we even got together” Jimin pointed an accusing finger “Also I thought Tae would have told you when you guys were talking the other day”

Taehyung let out a noise of betrayal “You can’t pin this on me!” he stomped his foot slightly

Yoongi really couldn’t help but to think it looked like an argument between three little kids.

“They’re arguing over you” Hoseok chuckled to Yoongi throwing his arm over Namjoon’s that was still over Yoongi’s shoulder

Yoongi rolled his eyes “Yeah I can see that” he scoffed

“Wait” Namjoon’s eyebrows furrowed looking back at Yoongi “That’s your boyfriend”

Yoongi nodded

“I didn’t think you went for the cute ones” Namjoon chuckled, ruffling Yoongi’s hair

“Yeah well I at least I never went for Jin” Yoongi shot back slapping his hand away

Jin scoffed out an offended “Hey!”

“Why do you have to bring High school up?” Namjoon groaned “Low blow”

Yoongi rolled his eyes looking back to the really loud, mildly entertaining conversation.

“Well now what’s next” Jungkook scoffed slightly “Are you gonna tell me you’re pregnant or something?”

“Wha- pregnant?” Jimin gasped, and Taehyung curled over in peals of laughter “I’m a man thank you very much”

“So? You might as well be” Jungkook pushed “I mean c’mon”

“I don’t know if Jiminie would even be the one doing that though” Taehyung cut in “Yoongi’s pretty squishy comparatively”

Hoseok snorted loudly as Yoongi stiffened slightly

Yoongi scowled “Jin, please control your boyfriend”

“I’ll go do that” Jin chuckled taking a few steps towards the three “Good thing I know Kookie or else this would be weird” and he jogged lightly over to them.

“Jin! What’re you doin’ here?” Jungkook grinned at the elder

“Welcome back to Seoul Kookie” Jin smiled patting the younger’s head “I’m actually here for another friend but I thought I’d greet you too”

“Thanks” Jungkook smiled

“Oh and Taetae” Jin added quickly turning to his boyfriend

“Yeah?”

“Yoongi says to stop calling him squishy” Jin laughed as a slight bit of fear flashed across Taehyung’s face “He might actually kill you”

“Wait” Taehyung’s eyes widened “He can hear us?”

“Oh sweetheart” Jin cooed “Everyone can hear you” he motioned to the few groups of people looking at them

“” Taehyung frowned before calling out toward the silver haired man “Sorry Yoongi!”

Yoongi brought his hand up over his eyes slightly groaning out a small “Don’t call out to me you in’ idiot”

Hoseok was really trying not to laugh (and kinda failing to be honest) and Namjoon just watched in both confusion and amusement. There was pause before Jungkook’s voice rung out again with a confused

“Hey Jin, are you friends with Namjoon?”

Needless to say they all hit it off quite well, even Hoseok who was still sulking over Namjoon staying an extra week in Busan to hang out with Jungkook.

Yoongi learned that when Jimin and Taehyung told them that they were gonna cling to Jungkook an unreasonable amount, they meant they were gonna ing cling an unreasonable ing amount.

Now he realizes that Taehyung and Jimin were like this with each other but it kinda interesting to see them like that with someone else. Especially someone obviously wasn’t as into skin ship as the other two.  So when they all take their seats at Jin’s diner, three people per booth and Jin serving, he watched Jungkook be forced into the middle of Taehyung and Jimin being squished by the both of them with a look of disdain etched deep into his features. Jungkook looked at Yoongi with pleading eyes as if he was asking for help because – Jungkook could just tell – Yoongi wasn’t a fan of being touched either. Yoongi shot him a sympathetic glance before motioning to his own position of being stuck between Namjoon, who’s arm was draped around his shoulder, Hoseok who had his leg over Yoongi’s thin legs. Yoongi was equally trapped as the youngest.

“Why do I gotta be in the middle?” Yoongi complained after a moment of Namjoon drumming a beat Yoongi can’t recognize into his shoulder

“Because you’re the smallest” Hoseok answered as if it were the most obvious thing in the world

“Then why am I in the middle?” Jungkook whined “By that logic Jiminie should be in the middle” Jimin elbowed him lightly in the gut for that

“Because we haven’t seen you in over three months” Taehyung grinned ruffling the younger’s hair “We missed you”

Yoongi and Jungkook just made pained eye contact until Jin came back to the table.

“Ah leave the two of them alone” Jin laughed at the distressed looked on his friend’s faces “You guys know neither of them like physical contact”

“Yoongi doesn’t mind me touching him though” Jimin frowned cocking his head to the side in mild confusion

“That’s because Yoongi’s in love with you” Hoseok shot back immediately

Yoongi choked on his coffee, causing him to accidentally jerk Hoseok’s leg into the table, making him groan in pain and Yoongi thought it was karmic justice, after all he told Hoseok that in private, trusting him to not say anything. Yoongi was never trusting Hoseok with anything ever again. Everyone else just laughed as the two of them tried to recover, though Jimin’s was a little more strained then normal, Yoongi could tell.

The subject didn’t come up for the rest of the time they were all there, which Yoongi was grateful for because if they’d continued on like that he’s sure he would have died on the spot. And it wasn’t until Hoseok suddenly gasped, hitting his leg against the table again, did they realize that they’d been sitting there for hours, and Hoseok quickly shuffling out of the booth.

“Jimin, Jimin, our shift at the gym!” He half screeched stumbling slightly “It’s in like 10 minutes! Holy Jimin”

There was a pause as Jimin’s eyes went from squinting in confusion to widening in panic, and it was one of the cutest thing’s Yoongi had ever seen. He smiled slightly as Jimin scrambled over the laps of his best friends in a hurry and waving goodbye them as he and Hoseok started rushing out of the restaurant. He watched them walk out the door before Jimin stopped abruptly and jogged lightly back to the table.

“Forget something?” Jungkook raised a teasing eyebrow

“Actually yeah” Jimin nodded matter-of-factly “But not from you”

Jimin turned placing a hand on the table for support as he leaned over, easily molding his lips with Yoongi’s for a moment before breaking away smirking slightly.

“I love you too Yoongi” He grinned before skipping his way out of the diner, leaving his friend’s whooping after him and Yoongi biting his lip trying (And failing) to suppress his grin.

Months passed. Months, of Yoongi being the happiest he’s been in, well, ever. Months of dating Jimin and months of Taehyung and Jungkook pestering him, months of Hoseok Jokingly complaining about how ing whipped Yoongi had become and there was Jin and Namjoon who were always cooing about how cute they were together that made Yoongi cringe (but he liked it, not that he’d admit it) and Yoongi couldn’t find it in himself to tell them to stop because he was that happy.

And sure he and Jimin fought, all couples do. Even Taehyung and Jin fought sometimes. But they’d always, always make up with in two days or less, which was surprising to all of their friends because they both were stubborn as . And within six months of their relationship Yoongi found himself moving into Jimin’s apartment because

“Your apartment is so boring Yoongi” Jimin whined “There’s no color anywhere”

“Well sorry that my ty landlord won’t let me paint my walls” Yoongi rolled his eyes

“Just come live with me” Jimin responded before he could stop himself “I-I mean t-then you’d have color in your life and you might not be as grumpy and-”

Yoongi cut him off with a quick peck on the lips, then his cheek, then on his jawline and Yoongi couldn’t help but smirk when Jimin shuddered slightly as he mumbled that he’d love to move in with him against his neck.

And six months after moving into Jimin’s apartment Yoongi’s still not 100% used to every single little quirk Jimin has but he loves absolutely every single one of them because they keep his life interesting and Yoongi has to stay on his toes. And he can’t really complain in every way shape or form because it’s ‘better than living in monotone’ as Jimin likes to put it. The one thing that always knocks Yoongi for a loop, without a doubt every time is when Jimin tries to copy dance move from the TV because Yoongi always remembers the dream he had just after he met Jimin.

“You know” Yoongi comments off handedly, picking at a hang nail on his left hand as Jimin continues to attempt a particularly hard dance move off whatever competition show they had been watching after dinner “I had this dream around a year ago, I remembered it just now”

Jimin stopped in his place, pushing his black hair out of his face to look at Yoongi “Yeah?” he smiles “What about?”

Yoongi pauses, biting his lip for a moment “I uh… I dreamt I asked you to marry me” Yoongi swallowed thickly as Jimin stared at him wide eyed and he decided to quickly back track because he’s sure he just ed things up “I mean; I’m just bringing it up because you were doing that dance thing you do in it and I just thought I’d mention it so because I remembered it and uh yeah”

“Hey Yoongi” Jimin says after a few minutes of calculating silence, and Yoongi avoiding looking at him “Will you marry me?”

Yoongi hesitantly looked up at the younger who was still standing across the room, now shifting slightly on his feet and Jimin smiled slightly when he met his eyes

“Like, I have a ring” Jimin continued “I was planning on asking you on valentine’s day because you hate cliché stuff like that but not in a public place cause I’m not that bad but I dunno since you brought it up I think this would be better. So, Min Yoongi, will you marry me? Please?” Jimin’s voice was growing quieter with each word and the please came out as a whisper but he got the message across.

And if Yoongi could have strode across their small living room any faster he would have but within two seconds Yoongi already had his lips moving against Jimin’s and he could feel the younger smiling into the kiss and he knew he probably was too but none of that mattered because he had Jimin and that’s all that really would ever matter.

And Yoongi was positive of Three things as he and Jimin fell into their bed together

1. He was so ing glad that Park Jimin ruined all of his plans a year ago
2. He would be with Jimin for the rest of his life, he’ll make damn sure of that
3. Jimin’s neck didn’t have nearly enough hickeys and he was about to change that
